Caroline Manzo may not be closing the door on reality television completely, but she is making one thing clear: she is done with Real Housewives.
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star appeared on the Legally Goff podcast, where she opened up about her future in reality TV, the unaired Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip controversy and where she stands with some of her former RHONJ castmates.
When asked whether she is done with reality television following everything that happened with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Caroline said she is not against doing reality TV again.
But she does not see herself returning to Housewives.
“I’m not done with reality TV but I am done with Real Housewives,” Caroline said.
The comment is notable considering Caroline has been one of the most talked-about former Housewives in recent years, especially after filming the shelved RHUGT season in Morocco with Brandi Glanville, Camille Grammer, Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi, Phaedra Parks, Eva Marcille and Alex McCord.
That season never aired after allegations surfaced involving Caroline and Brandi during filming. Brandi has denied wrongdoing, while Caroline has spoken about the emotional toll the experience had on her.
Despite that, Caroline is not saying she is done with cameras altogether. Instead, she seems to be drawing a line between reality TV as a genre and the Real Housewives franchise specifically.
Caroline also gave an update on which RHONJ women she still keeps in touch with.
She shared that she and her daughter, Lauren Manzo, still get together with Kathy Wakile and Kathy’s daughter, Victoria Wakile.
According to Caroline, the women meet up every few months and spend hours together catching up.
Caroline also addressed where she stands with Melissa Gorga, making it clear there is no bad blood.
However, she explained that they are not especially close outside of their shared history on RHONJ.
Caroline said she has no issues with Melissa, but added that “the only thing we have in common is the show.”
She also pointed out that Melissa is a lot younger than her, which may be part of why their relationship has never gone much deeper beyond Housewives. Caroline also mentioned she has remained tight with Dolores but doesn’t speak with her during filming.
Caroline’s latest comments come as RHONJ is preparing for a major new chapter. The franchise has been on pause following a toxic Season 14, and Season 15 is expected to bring back Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Dolores Catania alongside new women.
But fans hoping for Caroline’s return to RHONJ should not hold their breath.
