Liz McGraw may be stepping away from The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but she is still giving fans a look into her life with husband Gerry McGraw.
Following her shocking RHORI exit after one season, Liz took to Instagram to celebrate her wedding anniversary with Gerry in a sweet post honoring their longtime relationship.
On Sunday, July 5, Liz shared a series of photos and videos with Gerry, showing the couple standing in the same spot where they got married, lying together on a grassy hill, holding hands, kissing each other on the cheek and smiling for the camera.
In the caption, Liz reflected on their marriage and made it clear that their bond is still going strong.
“Every year we come to the same spot on the hill where we tied the knot…love you more today and every day,” Liz wrote.
The anniversary post comes shortly after Liz announced that she would not be returning for RHORI Season 2.
Liz previously shared that she was “full of gratitude” for the opportunity to appear on the show but had decided to take a step back as filming for the new season began.
“As filming for Season 2 begins, I have made the decision to take a step back and focus on my family, my work and my passions,” Liz wrote at the time.
She added that she would be watching next season and “rooting for the continued success” of the franchise, while looking forward to enjoying Rhode Island “from the other side of the camera.”
Liz and Gerry’s marriage was part of her RHORI storyline during Season 1. The couple has been together for more than 20 years and married since 2014.
In her 2025 anniversary post, Liz reflected on their years together, writing, “I wouldn’t have chosen any other people to spend it with! Love you beyond measure.”
RHORI viewers also learned during the Season 1 premiere that Liz and Gerry discovered they were distantly related after they were already married.
Liz opened up about the surprising revelation during Episode 1.
“Gerry and I were married about six months, and that was then, you know, the whole ancestry DNA thing was blowing up,” Liz explained. “I mean, if you look at Gerry and you look at me, no one’s ever gonna say we’re related — but we are related, somewhere down the line.”
The revelation became one of the more memorable personal details from Liz’s first season, but her anniversary post shows that she and Gerry are still happily celebrating their life together.
Since leaving RHORI, Liz has also addressed rumors surrounding her departure, making it clear that she did not leave because of cast drama or speculation about alleged “skeletons.”
Instead, Liz said she is focused on her family, her work and her passions.
And based on her latest anniversary post, Gerry remains a major part of that next chapter.
