Dino Guilmette, who has been mentioned frequently on the Bravo series and filmed during a group event, is reportedly facing serious felony charges tied to an alleged cocaine trafficking case.
Dino, 48, is best known to RHORI viewers as Liz McGraw’s close friend and confidant. Liz, also known on the show as the Cannabis Queen, has already had to shut down rumors that her relationship with Dino was anything more than friendship.
According to court records obtained by The U.S. Sun, Dino was hit with seven felony charges stemming from an alleged incident on November 10, 2021. The charges include possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute, drug conspiracy, perjury, conspiracy, obtaining property by false pretense and giving a false document to an agent.
The most serious charge, drug conspiracy, reportedly carries a possible sentence of life in prison.
According to a Rhode Island State Police affidavit published by GoLocalProvidence, Dino was alleged to have been “selling large quantities of cocaine, believed to be in kilogram quantities, in the State of Rhode Island.”
The affidavit also alleged that Dino and another individual, whose identity was redacted, “were believed to be smuggling kilograms of cocaine into the State of Rhode Island from an unknown Caribbean island.”
The case against Dino is reportedly ongoing, with an upcoming hearing in June.
Dino’s name has already come up on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island because of his close relationship with Liz McGraw.
During the second episode of RHORI, the other women confronted Liz about rumors that she was allegedly having an affair. Liz denied the gossip, but admitted that Dino was a big part of her life while her husband, Gerry, was often away on long fishing trips.
Liz laughed off the rumors, saying, “We can pretend [it’s true] because it makes a great story, but no.”
She later added, “When Gerry wasn’t here, I was always with Dino. I know people say, ‘They had this affair.’ It’s all bulls**t.”
Liz, 55, received a coveted cannabis dispensary license in Rhode Island in 2023, and her business life has been part of her RHORI storyline. But with Dino now facing serious legal allegations, fans are likely to look at Liz’s friendship with him under a whole new lens.
Dino has not been convicted of the charges, and the case remains ongoing. Still, the allegations are serious, especially given that the drug conspiracy charge reportedly carries a possible life sentence.
For now, Liz has been clear that her relationship with Dino is only friendship. But between the affair rumors on RHORI and Dino’s reported criminal case, this off-camera drama is quickly becoming one of the most shocking storylines connected to the new Bravo franchise.
