For the first time since The Valley: Persian Style premiered — and following the explosive season finale — Sky Askari is breaking her silence.

After quickly becoming one of the most talked-about personalities on the show, Sky sat down with Roxanne and Shantel of AllAboutTRH podcast for her first interview of the season, where she addressed the drama head-on — including her current stance on Reza after their now-infamous disaster dinner during the cast trip.

When asked where things stand between them, Sky didn’t hold back.

“I honestly dont know what to say about him, because you know, I understand that the reality TV is all about the drama. I get it. But then you try to twist the situation and be negative, evil, and bully. That is not something that I’m here to promote. I’m a mom and it’s not just about my own children. You know, for younger generation – they are going to sit down and watch this show.”

Sky made it clear that while she understands reality television thrives on tension, there’s a difference between drama and what she considers crossing a line.

She continued:

“some people are like just trying to pull anything they could to just have a scene and a moment to shine. And they create more hatred and negativity. That is absolutely concerning to me.”

“You Can’t Just Cross the Line”

Sky also referenced what she sees as a pattern in Reza’s behavior — escalating situations and then circling back with apologies after the damage is done.

“let’s take some accountability. Here we go again. Didn’t he say the same thing about the Mercedes on Shahs of sunset. He trashed her to the most and then got into the worst conflict with Tommy and then years later well listen he says lets take some accountability. And I’m sorry. No, dude. You can’t just cross the line. You can’t just go and break someones head purposely and come and say, oh, listen let me take some accountability.”

According to Sky, apologies after explosive moments don’t undo the impact.

She pointed to Tommy’s past conflict with Reza, adding:

“same thing as Tommy. He’s like no dude. The hell out of my face.”

When asked whether she agrees with Tommy’s difficulty moving forward with Reza — and whether she’s spoken to him — Sky shared her perspective:

“No but I actually like that guy. He knows exactly what hes doing . He understands boundary and self respect, and I actually love it.”

Giving Mercedes Credit

Interestingly, Sky also acknowledged Mercedes’ ability to forgive, even if she personally views the situation differently.

“if your heart is that big that you can forgive someone that embarrasses you and say such a nasty thing on national television and then come back and apologize and you forgive them. Good for you.”

While tensions clearly remain high, Sky’s message throughout the interview was consistent: accountability cannot erase boundaries once they’ve been crossed.
