Heather Gay Fires Back After Meredith Marks Accuses Her of Mocking Bronwyn

Heather Gay is flat-out denying Meredith Marks’ claim that she mocked Bronwyn Newport during the cast trip to Greece — and she isn’t softening her stance.

The drama began after Meredith spoke on Two Ts in a Pod, alleging that an off-camera moment left Bronwyn upset after Heather supposedly made jokes about her kissing a woman. According to Meredith, the situation deeply affected Bronwyn and made her anxious heading into the reunion.

Heather, however, says that version of events is completely untrue.

“I never would make fun of Bronwyn for kissing a girl,” Heather, 51, told The Post while promoting her partnership with Atkins. “I’m a huge advocate and ally to the gay community.”

Heather went on to explain why she believes Meredith’s story doesn’t line up with what actually happened in Greece.

“Bronwyn was laughing and joking with Mary [Cosby] and Meredith and then skipping up to Meredith’s room, and we saw the exchange of texts,” Heather said.

She also pointed out that Bronwyn was rooming with Angie Katsanevas throughout the trip and never once expressed distress over the situation.

“She was rooming with Angie [Katsanevas] and never once mentioned heartbreak over kissing a girl to Angie,” Heather added.

According to Heather, that omission is significant — and suggests the narrative Meredith shared later was a deflection.

“And so I think that was a lie that Meredith told as a deflection for why she really called Bronwyn into a room, which was to pump her for information,” Heather said.

Heather doubled down on her position, insisting the alleged conversation simply never happened.

“You got caught. Housewife tradecraft 101. Bronwyn sold you out. You thought she would keep your secrets — she didn’t,” Heather said. “Don’t try to touch me with the stain that you got caught in.”

She continued, “And I would never make fun of anyone for kissing a girl. And if Bronwyn was upset she would’ve told me to my face. She wouldn’t have confided in Meredith.”

Heather also noted that the situation never came up during the season 6 reunion, which filmed in December — something she believes speaks volumes.

“This didn’t come up once at the reunion,” she said. “Meredith is making that up. That’s an armchair quarterback move. She got nailed at the reunion, so now she’s doing press coming up with lies. Good luck.”

On Two Ts in a Pod, Meredith shared her perspective on the alleged incident, saying Bronwyn confided in her privately during the Greece trip.

“[Bronwyn] was very upset. She came down. You know, I guess she had Heather making fun of her that she was a lesbian after she had said she made out with a woman or whatever,” Meredith said. “I wasn’t there for that part when they had that conversation, so I was not in tune with it.”

Meredith claimed Bronwyn was emotionally overwhelmed and worried about how the situation might be perceived.

“She was kind of like really breaking down, very upset, very nervous about reunion and didn’t like that she was being weaponized for having kissed a girl — which I agree with,” Meredith continued. “That’s wrong. You don’t do that.”

Meredith added that she tried to support Bronwyn in that moment.

“I felt horrible. And I said to her, ‘I haven’t heard any of this.’ If the jokes were made, I didn’t get them because I wasn’t there for the conversation,” Meredith said. “So I said, ‘I’m glad you told me, you know, you have my support. That’s wrong. We don’t do that.’”

Despite her ongoing issues with Meredith, Heather doesn’t believe the conflict puts Meredith’s future on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City at risk.

“Fighting has never determined our future on this group,” Heather said. “The more fighting, the better. So probably more than ever.”

Heather did draw a firm line when it came to former castmate Jen Shah, whom she hasn’t seen since Shah was released from prison in December after serving nearly three years for her role in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme.

“I think she’s on house arrest,” Heather said. “I heard she can’t leave her house. That’s what the newspaper said. She’s ankle monitored up. She can’t leave. So we’re not gonna run into her at the grocery store.”
