Steve McBee Sr.’s world is shifting fast, and now another member of the McBee Dynasty cast is preparing for her own time behind bars.

Just as Steve gets ready to report to federal prison, his on-again, off-again partner Masha Petrova has been ordered to serve a short sentence of her own.

Court documents reveal that Masha must report to the Daviess County Jail in Missouri at noon on December 3 to complete a two-day sentence tied to a speeding case. She’ll need to pay her fines in full before she can be released.

Her reporting date comes just two days after Steve Sr. begins serving his two-year sentence in Yankton, South Dakota, for a single count of crop-insurance fraud — a case he has already described as unfair but one he’s facing head-on.

Are Steve and Masha Still Together?

Their relationship status has been a mystery ever since season 2 showed just how complicated their romance really was. PEOPLE reports that despite the ups and downs, the two actually spent Thanksgiving evening together looking at Christmas lights around Kansas City.

And Steve’s son Steven Jr. has also hinted that Masha hasn’t exactly disappeared from the picture. Speaking to Bravo’s Daily Dish back in August, he said his dad “would say no” if asked whether the two were still together, “but, yes, she’s still up at the farm.”

According to Steven Jr., they see her car “probably three or four nights out of the week” at Steve’s ranch. He added that his dad “tries to hide it” and avoids telling the family when Masha is over.

Season 2 Drama and a Complicated Love Triangle

Season 2 followed plenty of tension between Masha, Steve Sr., and her former friend Galyna Saltkovska — who also happens to be one of Steve’s ex-girlfriends. The dynamic played out in classic Bravo fashion, with messy conversations, shifting alliances, and plenty of behind-the-scenes stress.

But through it all, Steve has made it clear he holds no ill will toward Masha.
While discussing his upcoming sentence recently, he said she has “been so great to me.”
He also praised her daughter, saying she’s “a wonderful little girl” who is “hopefully going to be an Olympic skater.”

Steve acknowledged that reality TV hasn’t been easy on any of them. “Those girls get thrown to the fire on these shows,” he said, adding that he didn’t exactly love how he came across on season 1. Producers told him, “Don’t worry, we’re going to make you look like a hero,” but once the show aired, he joked, “I’m not sure what your definition of a hero is, but that’s not really mine.” Still, he said the show did well — and he understands how the drama gets shaped.

Cameras Will Follow Steve All the Way to Prison

Steve is already filming season 3, and production will follow him and his family as they travel to Yankton before he turns himself in. He said they’re planning to “see the town and get comfortable with everything” ahead of his arrival.

As his reporting date gets closer, Steve admitted he’s been racing against the clock: “I feel like there’s so many things to get ready, so I’ve just been in this panic mode trying to make sure I thought of everything.” He knows some loose ends might be left, but says “the lion’s share” of the major responsibilities are handled. He also called the process “an experience I never thought I would have.”

Steve Remains Unshaken: “I’ve Never Been a Victim”

Despite everything, Steve is staying focused and refusing to buckle under pressure.

He said he’s trying to remain “optimistic” and emphasized, “I’ve never been a victim, nor will I be a victim, and I’m not going to let anybody make me a victim.”
He added that he has always believed in the “glass is half full” mindset and acknowledged that “life isn’t fair sometimes for no reason at all.”

But even so, he says he’ll be okay.
“Good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people. I’m going to be okay, and I’m going to continue to work hard. I’m just going to make the best of a bad situation.”
