Teresa Giudice’s family life has once again been affected by off-screen drama, this time involving her husband, Louie Ruelas, and his ex-fiancée Vanessa Reiser. While Teresa focuses on her marriage and family, Louie is dealing with ongoing legal challenges stemming from Reiser’s continued disparagement and troubling conduct.

Louie Ruelas, 50, recently filed court documents accusing Vanessa Reiser of violating a 2020 agreement in which both agreed not to harm or disparage each other. However, Louie says Reiser has repeatedly broken that deal, going as far as reaching out to family, bloggers, and RHONJ cast members to spread negative remarks about him and Teresa.
One particularly concerning allegation, reported by US Weekly, is that Reiser has involved Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice by following her on Instagram and “making her presence known,” which Louie says caused “uncomfortable feelings and emotions for a young girl.” Given that Gia was never part of Louie’s previous relationship with Reiser, this behavior crosses a clear line of professionalism and respect.
Louie’s filing highlights the emotional toll on the entire family, stating the situation causes “daily emotional distress” for him, Teresa, and their children, despite Reiser never having met them.

RHONJ alum Jackie Goldschneider, who once had her own conflicts with Teresa and Louie, backed Louie’s claims in court. She stated that based on her interactions with Reiser, the latter’s actions violated the agreement and were “aimed at disparaging Mr. Ruelas.”
Louie also pointed to a podcast where Reiser described him as a “narcissistic partner” and interviews where she suggested Teresa was under “mind control,” showing a pattern of inflammatory and unfounded statements.
The filings make clear that Reiser’s conduct has had serious consequences for Louie, including the loss of a six-figure business opportunity. Louie said:
“The impact of Reiser’s statements has been deeply damaging, affecting my personal life, my relationship with my wife and children and my professional reputation.”
Reiser has denied violating the non-disparagement agreement and dismissed concerns about Gia, saying the young woman could simply block or report her if she felt uncomfortable online. This dismissive attitude overlooks the fact that Gia is not involved in any prior dispute, and the ongoing attention from Reiser seems unnecessary and unprofessional.
Meanwhile, Teresa and Gia continue focusing on their lives outside of the drama. Teresa and Louie recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary with heartfelt tributes to each other, showing the strength of their relationship despite the outside noise.
