Danielle Cabral responds to Caroline Manzo saying she is responsible for her casting on RHONJ and addresses claims that she’s “thirsty” for fame.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Cabral quickly became a fan favorite when she joined the season 13 cast of the hit Bravo franchise.
However, the tides quickly turned on Danielle Cabral, with many fans believing that the RHONJ star is “thirsty” for fame and will do anything and everything to be in the spotlight.
Many RHONJ fans changed their opinion of Danielle as more information about her past attempts to become famous came to light. Danielle’s past attempts at securing her 15 minutes of fame include appearing on various reality TV shows like MTV’s “True Life: I’m a Staten Island Girl,” “Family Under Construction,” and a competition show to be named Britney Spears’ number one fan.
Also, reports of Danielle’s diva behavior have been swirling around social media, which has left a bad taste in many RHONJ fans’ mouths.
Now, the RHONJ star is addressing it all. Danielle talked to The U.S. Sun at her Boujie Kidz event, which was attended by RHONJ co-stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Rachel Fuda, and Jennifer Fessler.
To start, Danielle declared that she has bigger plans than just reality TV and insists that she is meant to be famous for so much more.
According to Danielle, her dreams are much bigger than RHONJ, and that she plans to be an Emmy winner one day.
“I will be an Emmy winner, and it will be for doing amazing things… doing a really wonderful program,” Danielle stated. “I have dreams and ambitions still. I have not hit my pinnacle of success, and everything is still a journey. I’m super talented. I’ve been trained in theater.”
She also addressed claims that she’s “thirsty” while admitting that those claims drive her “crazy.”
“There’s a very big difference between being thirsty and being hungry,” she said. “Somebody that is hungry works hard. I got educated in the entertainment field and that was just my dream.”
As for that video circulating social media of her competition to be Britney Spears’ number one fan, Danielle recalled, “They did a contest to see who was Britney’s number one fan. I was 16, and I rapped on stage with my idol, and she picked me as her number one fan.”
She added, “Listen, if Britney wants to call me, I’d love to talk to that broad right now- see what’s going on there. Love her.”
Danielle then responded to Caroline Manzo, telling Jeff Lewis that she was responsible for getting the 38-year-old cast on RHONJ.
Back in August, Caroline appeared on Jeff Lewis Live, where she revealed that she played a role in Danielle getting cast on RHONJ. She also said that Danielle never thanked her and swiftly unfollowed her on social media after getting hired to be on Real Housewives.
“I know [the truth], and it’s not necessarily Housewives; it’s anything in my life,” Danielle said in response to Caroline’s claims. “I know the immense amount of work that I’ve put in and the struggles and the heartache. And my husband [Nate Cabral] knows the times I would cry, and it’s not Housewives related; it’s success related.”
“So for anybody that knows me… I really put in the work, and for anybody to take it away from me, [it’s] kind of sucky. But I just know. It’s okay for me in my heart to know the truth. There’s nobody in the world that can take any of my success away from me. I’ve earned everything I’ve gotten myself,” she continued.
Speaking of RHONJ, Danielle explained that she went into season 14 of the show “smarter” than she did during her first season, where she was just excited and happy to be on the show.
“I think I have a place in the group this season, so it just makes sense for me to have more of an opinion and a place and a history. And so yeah, last season I was like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you,’ and this season it’s a little bit smarter,” she explained.

Danielle being thirsty is saying it mildly and is typical of many of these women, especially the newer ones. She found a job that rewards dumb, arrogant, loud, lying, basically nasty women with little if any integrity so she has more than satisfied that thirst. For now anyway.
Danielle, you are absolutely right. There is a difference between thirsty and hungry. Boujie Kidz is hungry. You worked hard to build that business so props to you (even if I wouldn’t spend my $$$ on the clothes).
Thirsty: you applying to every reality show known to man (Jersey Shore for instance), creeping in on people’s PR gigs (Teresa’s Hoagie shop opening for instance), begging to attend the VMAs, and lying about donating to charities that you actually haven’t donated to…

Mmmhmm. And I was a fan of hers at the beginning of last season. On the show, I thought she was great (the brother thing got annoying real fast though) but after hearing about her quest for fame and how greedy she is off camera, my opinion has changed.

She’s becoming nauseating. And I loved her last season.
She’s thirsty and delusional. I doubt appearing on a HW show or being Britney’s number one fan is a path to an Emmy.

If you have to deny you are thirsty, you are thirsty.
Maybe because she is WAY beyond just “thirsty”. What she is could be considered having some sort of mental disorder, IMO. Either that or just a really bad person.
