Crystal Kung Minkoff is setting the record straight about her future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After weeks of speculation that the former RHOBH star could be returning to the franchise, Crystal made it clear that fans should not expect to see her holding a diamond next season.
Crystal addressed the rumors after repeated online chatter about whether she would come back to Beverly Hills, especially after she filmed The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
When asked on her Humble Brag podcast if she would ever return to the Real Housewives franchise, Crystal did not completely shut the door.
“Um, yeah, I would,” Crystal said.
But she quickly clarified that a return is not happening right now.
“I would, but I’m going to say this here today. I’m not going back next year. Okay,” she said.
Crystal explained that she has been asked about the possibility nonstop.
“Because it’s been out there a lot. I keep getting asked every day. It’s everywhere,” she added.
Crystal also acknowledged that her appearance on Ultimate Girls Trip may have fueled the speculation.
“I know. I know. And I think because I did Ultimate Girls Trip, I said yes to that. I think that stirred up a lot of conversation,” Crystal explained.
Crystal joined RHOBH in Season 11 and made history as the show’s first Asian American Housewife. During her time on the show, she was part of several major group conflicts, including her complicated dynamic with Sutton Stracke and later tension with some of the women over her place in the group.
After Season 13, Crystal exited the franchise. Since then, fans have continued to debate whether she should come back, especially as Beverly Hills goes through another cast shakeup.
RHOBH Season 16 is already shaping up to be a major reset, with several new names entering the conversation and production currently underway. That made fans wonder if Crystal’s Ultimate Girls Trip appearance was a soft launch for her return to Beverly Hills.
