Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley’s messy divorce battle just hit another major turning point.
After weeks of fighting over their longtime Los Angeles mansion, a judge has officially ordered the former couple’s $7 million home to be sold — and Dorit has been ordered to move out by November, according to TMZ.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been living in the six-bedroom, ten-bathroom home with the couple’s two children while she and PK continue battling over finances in their divorce.
PK had previously claimed Dorit was not paying the mortgage and argued that the home needed to be sold before the financial situation got worse.
Dorit, who is represented by attorney Samantha Spector, pushed back and argued that PK should be the one paying the bills. Dorit’s side has claimed PK has enough money to cover what is owed on the home.
Now, the court is stepping in.
At a hearing on Wednesday, Dorit and PK’s legal teams worked out a deal for the home to be listed for sale. Dorit has hired real estate agent Zach Goldsmith, known from Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills, to handle the listing.
There had apparently been disagreement over who was delaying the sale. PK claimed Dorit was dragging her feet, while Dorit claimed PK was the one refusing to sign the agreement with Zach.
The judge has now ordered that the home be sold with Zach as the listing agent.
The court also ordered that PK become a manager of the LLC that owns the home so he can help move the sale process forward.
While Dorit will have to leave the home by November, PK was ordered to continue paying the mortgage until she moves out. However, he will be reimbursed from the profits once the home sells.
PK will also be paid back for other money he has put into the home since the split.
Dorit was ordered to cover the home’s utilities, including any past-due bills.
Despite getting the home sale ordered, PK did not get everything he wanted. The judge denied his request for sanctions.
The mansion has become one of the biggest points of conflict in Dorit and PK’s divorce. PK has accused Dorit of spending heavily while the mortgage fell behind, while Dorit has argued that PK is not providing formal child or spousal support and should therefore be covering the home expenses.
The former couple announced their separation in May 2024 after nearly a decade of marriage. Since then, their split has become increasingly tense, with both sides making accusations about money, support and responsibility.
