Melissa Gorga is teasing a very different family dynamic on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15.
The RHONJ star says filming the new season felt “amazing” now that she and her husband, Joe Gorga, have finally put their years-long feud with Teresa Giudice behind them.
While celebrating the premiere of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, which debuts August 9 on Bravo, Melissa spoke exclusively with E! News about what fans can expect from the new season of Jersey.
“That’s what it’s all about,” Melissa said of her reconciliation with Teresa. “We were so proud that we were able to turn it around, and maybe we can be an example for people who think they’re never going to speak to their family members again.”
Melissa and Joe’s relationship with Teresa has been one of the longest-running and most emotional storylines in Real Housewives history. Fans have watched the Gorga and Giudice family drama play out since RHONJ Season 2, with years of tension involving Teresa, Joe Gorga, Melissa and Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice.
The family feud eventually grew even more complicated as the next generation became involved, including Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice.
But after years of fighting, distance and public fallout, Melissa said the family has finally been able to reach a better place.
“If we can do it, anyone can,” Melissa said.
The reconciliation came at a major time for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which is returning after a long break. The franchise went on a two-year hiatus after the Season 14 reunion was canceled in 2024 due to the cast being so divided.
Melissa said the break ended up being a positive thing for the cast.
“The break was really nice,” Melissa admitted.
According to Melissa, the time away helped the group come back with better energy.
She said the break made everyone “more energetic going back into it.”
And while fans are eager to see how Teresa, Melissa and Joe’s new dynamic plays out, Melissa is already teasing a dramatic season.
“The season finale ended with a bang,” Melissa revealed.
She also described the climax of the season as “really crazy.”
Season 15 will feature Melissa, Teresa and Dolores Catania, along with several new women who have not yet been officially announced by Bravo.
Melissa said meeting the new cast members brought fresh excitement to filming.
“To meet all these new girls,” Melissa said, “it was exciting.”
While the new cast is already shaking things up, Melissa also admitted there is one former RHONJ star she would not mind seeing back in the mix: Caroline Manzo.
“I love a good [Caroline] moment,” Melissa said, “with the family and the kids and the cooking.”
Caroline was one of the original RHONJ cast members and had deep ties to the show’s earliest seasons, when family, food and old-school Jersey dynamics were a huge part of the franchise.
For now, RHONJ Season 15 appears to be centered on a fresh start, a smaller familiar core and a new chapter for the Gorga and Giudice family.
