Milania Giudice and her family are mourning the heartbreaking loss of her childhood best friend, Victoria Zardoya.
Over the weekend, Milania shared the devastating news with her followers and honored Victoria with a series of throwback photos, emotional quotes and memories from their childhood together.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter shared one post on her Instagram Stories that read, “Lowkey hate nostalgia because what do you mean I can never go back.”
The quote was posted alongside a throwback photo of two little girls dressed in princess costumes, showing just how far back Milania and Victoria’s friendship went.
Milania also shared another heartbreaking quote about grief that read, “Now I have to remember you for longer than I knew you.”
Milania was not the only Giudice family member mourning Victoria’s passing. Her mom, Teresa Giudice, her dad, Joe Giudice, and her sisters Gia and Audriana Giudice also shared tributes honoring Victoria and the memories they shared with her.
Joe Giudice posted an emotional tribute on Instagram, revealing just how close Victoria was to their family.
“There are no words for this kind of pain,” Joe wrote.
“Victoria, you were like a daughter to me. I watched you grow up with my daughter Milania. We were neighbors for years, and you became part of our family. I can’t believe you’re gone.”
Joe also shared that Victoria was only 20 years old.
“To think that a simple fall while just being young and having fun could take such a beautiful life is heartbreaking,” he continued. “You were only 20 years old, with your whole future ahead of you.”
Joe reflected on how fragile life can be and encouraged people not to take their loved ones for granted.
“Life is so fragile. In one moment, everything can change,” Joe wrote. “Please don’t take a single day or the people you love for granted.”
He ended his tribute by writing, “Victoria, you will be missed more than you’ll ever know. You’ll always have a place in our hearts, and I’ll never forget you. My heart is with your family. Rest in peace, beautiful girl. Until we meet again. 🕊️💔”
Victoria attended the University of Tampa with Milania, making the loss even more devastating for those who knew how close the two remained through the years.
Audriana Giudice, 16, also shared her heartbreak, writing that Victoria’s death “doesn’t feel real.”
Despite the pain, Audriana expressed gratitude for the memories she shared with Victoria and Milania over the years.
Victoria’s official cause of death has not been publicly revealed.
The Giudice family’s tributes show that Victoria was much more than Milania’s friend. She was someone who grew up alongside the family, shared countless childhood memories with them and remained deeply loved by everyone who knew her.
Milania’s posts were especially heartbreaking, as she reflected on the kind of grief that comes with losing someone who was part of your life from such a young age.
