Kyle Richards Says Ultimate Girls Trip Made Her “Appreciate Beverly Hills” After Seeing Other Housewives Casts “Act Up”

Kyle Richards is giving fans a major tease about just how chaotic The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th gets — and according to the RHOBH star, filming with other Housewives casts actually made her “appreciate Beverly Hills.”

To celebrate two decades of Housewives, seven major stars from the Bravo universe — Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow — came together for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.

While the women had a great time bonding with one another, filming alongside each other’s actual casts was apparently a very different experience.

Speaking with People, Kyle Richards said the Ultimate Girls Trip cast itself was happy and connected, but once they entered different Housewives cities, the drama became shocking.

“On Beverly Hills we fight, we have problems, but I’m like wow, this experience is kind of making me appreciate Beverly Hills,” Kyle said. “I cannot believe what I’m seeing right now. It was crazy.”

Gizelle Bryant agreed, adding, “OC was like wow.”

Luann de Lesseps also agreed with the sentiment.

Porsha Williams then jumped in and pointed out that the chaos did not always come from the franchises fans might expect.

“What about Salt Lake City? And then Atlanta had their stuff,” Porsha said. “But it was crazy because when we’re in each city, you would assume the Atlanta girls are going to act up, or the Miami girls. It would be the other cities that are visiting us that show out.”

Porsha explained that the Ultimate Girls Trip cast became protective of each other while filming, especially when drama involved one of them.

“What’s crazy is if it involved any of us, I don’t know if it’s because we were on the Girls Trip together, I was very protective of us,” Porsha said.

She specifically mentioned standing by Lisa Barlow during filming.

“I rode for Lisa. I don’t care what you said she did to you, she’s our friend and we love her,” Porsha shared.

Porsha said the experience created a real bond between the women.

“So she grew a whole sisterhood and I know y’all had my back,” she said. “We rode like a little gang.”

Lisa Barlow also opened up about what it was like filming Ultimate Girls Trip while her own Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion was airing.

According to Lisa, the timing made filming even more intense because she was dealing with reunion fallout in real time while also being thrown into new Housewives dynamics.

“It was refreshing for me to go into Salt Lake too because I feel like our reunion was airing while I was filming Ultimate Girls Trip so you’re getting all of that while being on a trip,” Lisa said.

Lisa explained that things became frustrating when people wanted to confront her about issues she felt had already been addressed.

“And then they’d pop in and just want to confront me but I’m like we just cleared up everything at the reunion,” Lisa shared.

Lisa said the experience ultimately changed the way she approached the next season of RHOSLC.

The comments make it clear that Roaring 20th was not just a celebratory Housewives trip. It also put some of Bravo’s biggest personalities directly in the middle of each other’s franchise drama.

For Kyle, the experience made her appreciate Beverly Hills more. For Porsha, it created a sisterhood among the Ultimate Girls Trip cast. And for Lisa, it gave her a new perspective heading into another season of Salt Lake City.

One thing is clear: when Housewives worlds collide, the drama does not stay in one city.
