Ramona Singer says fans may see a very different side of her on The Golden Life.

The former Real Housewives of New York City star is opening up about her new chapter in Palm Beach, Florida, and teasing what viewers can expect from her upcoming E! series. And according to Ramona, the show is not about women tearing each other down.
While attending The One Party by Uber at Pier 36 in New York City on Friday, June 12, Ramona told Us Weekly that she is excited for fans to see her in a new environment.
“I’m so excited,” Ramona said of The Golden Life. “I like E! because it’s a different show. It’s not about women attacking women.”

Ramona, who starred on RHONY from Season 1 through Season 13 before ending her Bravo run in 2021, said the new series focuses more on women enjoying where they are in life.
The reality star explained that The Golden Life is about “enjoying the best part of our lives.”
“Now our children are grown and we’re living our best lives,” Singer shared. “I like to golf, play tennis, have lunches, do dinner parties. But there’s still, you know, a little altercation, but not that real negative energy. Which I love.”
That may be a shift from the Ramona RHONY fans remember, where she was often at the center of drama, arguments and unforgettable one-liners. But this time around, Ramona says she is stepping into a very different role.
According to Singer, viewers will still see emotional moments on the show, including women “crying over emotion,” but she says her job in the group is now “the peacemaker.”
“I feel like I’m a psychologist. It’s a very different role for me,” she teased.
Ramona credits her move from New York City to Palm Beach for helping her feel calmer and more grounded.
“I’m just at a different stage of my life. I’m really happy within,” Ramona said. “I think living in Palm Beach the past four years has been very good for me emotionally and mentally.”
The RHONY alum also said she has changed the way she looks at conflict. Instead of immediately engaging in a fight, Ramona says she now tries to understand what is really behind someone’s anger.
“I just think there’s no reason to fight and get angry, and if someone is fighting and angry, there’s a deeper reason,” Ramona told Us. “Like, why are you angry? Let’s unpeel the layers. Let’s get to the heart of it.”
