The Real Housewives of New Jersey is officially back in action, and Dolores Catania is giving fans a major update on where things stand with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
Dolores recently appeared on SiriusXM’s The John Hill Show, where she opened up about filming RHONJ again after months of speculation that the franchise could be put on pause or completely reworked following years of cast division.
When asked if she will be appearing on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island more or heading back to Jersey, Dolores made it clear she is open to doing both.
“Talk to your boy Andy. Tell them,” Dolores said when asked about doing more Rhode Island.
When John Hill asked, “Can’t you be in both?” Dolores responded, “I can. Why can’t I?”
The conversation then shifted to New Jersey, where Dolores revealed that filming has already started.
When John asked if she could say what scenes she was shooting, Dolores shared, “We just started. Today’s an all-cast.”
That is a major update for RHONJ fans, especially after the show’s future remained unclear following a deeply divided season where the cast was so fractured that Bravo did not even film a traditional reunion.
John noted how big it is for Jersey to be back after so much speculation that the show might be shelved.
“This is a big deal for Jersey to be back because a long time people were speculating that it would just be shelved,” John said.
Dolores then confirmed who is back, saying, “Me, Teresa, and Melissa.”
Of course, the biggest question is whether Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are actually speaking after years of family tension, public feuding, and a complete breakdown in their relationship.
John asked, “I mean, come on, and are they speaking?”
Dolores answered, “Yeah.”
John then reacted to the shocking update, saying, “So they’re back together. They’re fine. That’s huge. For years, they wouldn’t even speak.”
Dolores explained that she has seen Teresa and Melissa together and believes the energy between them feels different this time.
“Yeah, so I’ve seen them together. It seems very peaceful and sincere and I support it and it’s what I’ve always wanted for them,” Dolores said.
Dolores has long been one of the few RHONJ cast members who tried to stay neutral amid the family war, often saying she wanted peace for the group and for the family. So her saying the reunion between Teresa and Melissa feels “peaceful and sincere” is definitely going to get fans talking.
After years of divided sides, skipped events, and family heartbreak, RHONJ may be entering a very different era. And according to Dolores, Teresa and Melissa’s current relationship is something she has always wanted for them.
