The Bravo boss addressed the speculation during the Wednesday, May 13 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live after Kudrow recently pointed out what fans are calling the “two van theory” from a RHOBH episode that aired back in March.

“It blew up that people were saying she was calling me out on fakery on the show,” Cohen explained.

The scene in question happened during the cast’s trip abroad when Dorit Kemsley stormed off after a heated fight with Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards.

“Dorit said, ‘Screw you,’ and got in the Mercedes van and left,” Cohen recalled.

Fans later noticed another black Mercedes Sprinter van in the background, leading many viewers to question whether Erika and Kyle were truly stranded after Dorit left them behind.

According to Andy, there is a simple explanation.

“What Lisa was pointing out was there was another Mercedes van there, so they weren’t stranded,” he said.

Cohen shared that he even checked in with production after the online theories started exploding.

“I remember hearing from production, like, ‘Whoa, Dorit stranded them in town,’” he explained. “The other car was the crew vehicle that was taking the crew somewhere else and took the crew somewhere else.”

He continued, “So Kyle and Erika then called the house to ask for a ride back. They called the house and that’s why the van that had just dropped off the crew then returned to get Erika and Kyle.”

According to Cohen, the scene viewers watched was not fabricated.

He insisted that Erika and Kyle “walking on the street” while waiting for a ride “was real,” adding that the women were left waiting “for some time” while the crew vehicle completed its drop off.

“It’s not even that interesting,” Cohen joked. “I’m sorry to bore you guys, but that is what happened.”

The controversy started after Lisa Kudrow appeared on the May 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live and hinted she did not fully buy what viewers saw on screen.

“I saw the Beverly Hills [episode] — you don’t want me to discuss it. I am telling you right now,” Kudrow said. “I am just going to say Black Mercedes sprinter twins. I caught that, I’m sorry.”

Her comment instantly took off online, with RHOBH fans debating whether the dramatic scene was authentic or carefully produced.

Still, Andy seems unbothered by the discourse and now Bravo fans finally have an answer about what actually happened behind the scenes.
