Teddi Mellencamp is not backing down in her ongoing feud with Dorit Kemsley, and her latest comments are taking things to a much more personal level.
On a recent episode of the Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Teddi addressed the backlash surrounding her remarks about Dorit and made it clear she has no plans to walk anything back.
“Why is she playing a victim now when it comes to me?” Teddi said. “Now you just want people to jump on me because I made a point that upset you, which I get. I 100 percent get. Do I think it was something nice to say? No. Was I being an a**hole? I don’t want to apologize for my comment.”
The tension began after Teddi reacted to comments from Dorit’s estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, who suggested that RHOBH “created scenarios that did not happen.” Teddi strongly disagreed and pointed to several moments from the show that she believes were very real.
“PK says the show created scenarios that did not happen,” Teddi said. “What about that crying episode when their home was burglarized and Dorit was hugging Mauricio? Was that created?”
She also revisited PK’s claim that he no longer recognized Dorit, adding her own interpretation.
“At that moment, I was wondering, ‘Did he mean because of the plastic surgery or how she mentally was acting?’”
Dorit, who has denied having plastic surgery, responded publicly at the time, writing, “Sad to see someone who once called me a friend go this low.”
But Teddi says their friendship had already been strained long before this latest exchange.
“She’s so offended that I made the ill-fitted joke. It’s a big dig, it’s an a**hole thing to say,” Teddi admitted. “But for her to comment, saying, ‘For someone who once was my friend.’ Dorit said on the after show in 2024 that she and I were never really friends.”
Then, Teddi brought up something far more serious — her health.
“What I will have to say is that if you’re going to hold someone to the fire and consider them a good friend or a bad friend versus what they say or what they do, Dorit is the only one of my ‘used to be friends’ that did not show up to the hospital for me,” she alleged.
“She did not call me. She did not do the food train. Erika was there, Rinna was there, Tamra was there, Kyle was there. I never heard a word from Dorit.”
Teddi revealed earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with multiple brain tumors, making her claim even more pointed.
Despite everything, she did acknowledge Dorit’s current situation.
“I hate what Dorit’s going through turned her the way that she is, which is very angry,” Teddi said. “We’re all going through it in different ways.”
Still, she made it clear where she stands.
“You can’t go for somebody’s jugular and act like they’re hurting you in a time where you’re being hurt when you weren’t even there when the person you were supposedly good friends with was dying. Not a peep. This bugs me and it makes me side with everybody else but her.”
With both sides now speaking out, it’s clear this fallout has moved far beyond typical Housewives drama.
