RHORI’s Kelsey Swanson Says Ashley I Treats the Show “Like a Job” and Doesn’t Connect With Cast Outside of Filming

Kelsey Swanson is opening up about her dynamic with co-star Ashley Iaconetti, suggesting that their relationship has remained distant both on and off camera.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Kelsey was asked which cast members she hasn’t connected with as closely. While she said she generally gets along with everyone, she pointed to Ashley as someone who has not fully integrated into the group.

“I get along with all the girls,” Kelsey said, before adding that Ashley has kept her distance from the rest of the cast.

“Ashley has not made it a point to hang out with any of us even after filming. And I like message her on Instagram or send her like a, or I’ll reply to her on her story, a lot of the time she doesn’t answer.”

Kelsey contrasted that with the rest of the group, noting that most of the women spend time together outside of filming.

“All of us girls, we hang out outside of filming. Ashley just it’s like a job. She goes to work and then goes home and you don’t hear from her.”

She went on to say that the lack of communication has made it difficult to build a connection.

“I just figure she’s not interested,” Kelsey added, explaining that Ashley does not reach out or check in with the group.

Kelsey did note that Ashley appears to maintain a closer relationship with fellow cast member Rosie, but overall has not expanded beyond that.

Ashley, who is balancing filming with her responsibilities as a mother, has largely kept a lower profile within the group dynamic this season. She shares young children with her husband and has spoken about prioritizing family life, which may play a role in how often she socializes with the cast outside of production.

As the season continues, the difference in how cast members engage both on and off camera appears to be creating a noticeable divide.

Again.... Ashley is the only reason I tune into Rhode Island. The other women try too hard to be kick butt. I don't like it. Where's the fun?

This is your typical mean girl dog pile on probably the only member of the cast who so far is a decent person. Ashley. Liz is a wealthy low life and Kelly (Liz's BFF) is a gold digger. Both Liz and Kelly have now given interviews trashing a young mother with two young children because she doesn't swing like they do. Go figure.
