Porsha Williams Says RHOA “Was Our House” as She Reflects on NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore’s Exit

Porsha Williams Apologizes for “Late Night Kiki” About Charles Oakley: “I Don’t Know Henny-thing”

Porsha Williams is opening up about how much The Real Housewives of Atlanta has changed over the years, and the impact of losing some of its most iconic cast members.

Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams have a long history on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

During an interview on Carlos King’s Reality with the King podcast, Porsha reflected on her longtime role on the show and admitted she never expected to see the day when key figures like NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore would no longer be part of the cast.

“Because I never would have foreseen NeNe not being here. I never would have foreseen Kenya not being here,” she said. “Kandi, I never would have foreseen it because we were such a sisterhood.”

Porsha explained that, to her, the show was more than just a reality series — it felt like a shared foundation built by the original group.

“And outside of a family, we were the business of Bravo, and I just knew that we would always be doing this together. You don’t see an end to it. We owned it. It was our house.”

Now one of the longest-running cast members, Porsha said she hopes she’s doing right by the show’s legacy.

She shared that she wants to be “a good keeper of the house,” as the series continues to evolve with new faces and shifting dynamics.

When it comes to Kenya’s recent departure, Porsha admitted it still affects her.

“When it comes to Kenya, having to leave, it did hurt me. It did,” she said. “Because I thought we were able to just meet each other in a different space.”

I apologize if I'm late to the show, but I absolutely loathe this cast. You can keep Porsha, Phaedra and Cynthia, but the rest have to go. What is happening with these casts? So extremely disappointing.

For me, it's hard to even remember the glory days of ATL (or any of them really), because the entire HW series has gotten so bad. I really believe that the specials are the way to go, meaning they should stick with the 100-ish or so ladies from 2006 to 2020 and then restructure. Bravo if you're listening; no more new girls or franchises please, because in case you haven't noticed ... we're rejecting them.

Porsha is right, but BRAVO can bring these legacies back at any time. Remember Traitors/Phadra, and the fans LOVE a comeback.

I think Traitors cemented the deal, but for me, her comeback was in RHUGT at Blue Stone Manor ... easily the best of the girl's trips.
