Amanda Frances is setting the record straight after fans began speculating about her status on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During Bravo’s After Show, viewers noticed Amanda appeared solo in multiple segments — sparking rumors that she may have been on the outs with the cast or even fired. Now, she’s clearing things up.
Speaking on The Viall Files, Amanda explained that her solo appearance had nothing to do with drama — and everything to do with logistics.
“Sutton’s flight got delayed. I ended up putting that on my stories because I thought it was such a weird controversial thing,” she said, referring to Sutton Stracke.
According to Amanda, the plan was always for them to film together.
“So Sutton and I were meant to be together. I did my first one with Kyle and my second one was meant to be with Sutton.”
Instead, she ended up filming alone — something she didn’t exactly mind.
“But Sutton’s flight got delayed and so I was honestly kind of happy because those things are long. And I was like I bet I can knock these out in a few hours if it’s just me and the producer. And we did. That was the fastest taping.”
Amanda also gave insight into how the After Show pairings are typically decided.
“You’re kind of grouped with whoever you are in a good, little camaraderie with at the end. So it made sense they wanted me with Sutton because of our Italy trip.”
She added that other pairings were intentional as well, including Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards being grouped together.
“Erika and Kyle were meant to be together, which makes sense for the ending.”
While Amanda insisted there’s no deeper issue behind her solo segments, the fact that fans immediately jumped to conclusions shows just how closely viewers are watching her role on the show.
Still, according to Amanda, the explanation is simple — and far less dramatic than it may have seemed.
