Lisa Hochstein is at the center of a shocking legal situation — and now, her legal team is breaking their silence.
The Real Housewives of Miami star, along with her ex Jody Glidden, is facing criminal charges tied to allegations involving her ex-husband, Lenny Hochstein — and according to their attorneys, this situation is being taken too far.
In a statement to Reality Blurb, defense attorneys Jayne Weintraub, Howard Srebnick, and Frank Gaviria pushed back on the case, stating, “This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.”
As previously reported, both Lisa and Jody have been charged with one count each of “interception of wire, oral or electronic communications” in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The charges stem from allegations that the pair intercepted — or attempted to intercept — private conversations involving Lenny.
According to reports, Lisa and Jody “unlawfully and intentionally” intercepted, tried to intercept, or attempted to have someone else intercept “oral statements by Leonard Hochstein and those Leonard Hochstein spoke with.”
The timeline of the alleged incidents dates back to March 2023, with court documents filed on March 19 regarding events that reportedly took place between March 12 and March 31 of that year.
The situation escalated over the weekend when Jody was reportedly taken into custody on Saturday. As of Monday, however, he was no longer listed in the online inmate database, leaving it unclear whether he was released or posted bail — and when that may have occurred.
Meanwhile, the legal uncertainty continues to grow. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office has confirmed that the warrant tied to the case has been sealed.
Adding another layer to the unfolding drama, a report from Page Six claims that a warrant has also been issued for Lisa’s arrest.
This isn’t the first time legal battles have surfaced between Lisa and her ex-husband. Her current attorney previously represented her during a dispute involving Lenny and his now-ex-fiancée, Katharina Nahlik, who had filed stalking claims and sought an injunction against her. That case ultimately did not move forward, as a judge ruled there was no just cause for even a temporary restriction following a full trial.
Lisa and Jody began dating in late 2022 amid her highly publicized split from Lenny, though the two reportedly went their separate ways last year.
