After being accused of lying about a comment comparing Amanda to Pinocchio, Boz took to Instagram to set the record straight and admit she got it wrong.

“It looks like I accidentally stepped in it on this one,” she began.

Boz explained that the situation came down to something many people can relate to, saying something in the moment and not fully owning it later.

“How many of us don’t have a poker face? How many of us sometimes say slick things, forget we said the slick thing, and then stand 10 toes down that we didn’t say it? That’s what happened on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, okay?”

She then shared footage from the episode, along with a clip that appeared to confirm she did, in fact, make the comment about Amanda while the group was out shopping and saw long-nosed masks.

“For the purposes of this conversation, I’m gonna own this,” Boz said.

She followed that with a direct apology.

“So, first, let me start by saying, Amanda, I apologize for hurting your feelings. I really, really do. I didn’t mean to do that, okay?”

Boz said her intention was to highlight the reality of being on the show and how everything is put on display.

“All I was trying to get to was the fact that, like, look, we are here. We are talking about our lives in the most honest way possible. It’s not often pretty.”

She also emphasized that this level of openness comes with the territory.

“We have to talk about everything. We signed up for this.”

Referencing Erika Jayne’s comments from the episode, Boz added that the situation reflects a broader reality beyond just the show.

“Look, it’s true. And that doesn’t even just apply to this group. That’s the larger world. There’s so many of us who deal with all kinds of things being said to us. But look, we’re still standing. Still pushing.”

She ended her message with a blunt takeaway.

“So, let that be the lesson. It’s two things. One, get a better poker face. Two, don’t say slick s that hurts people’s feelings, okay? My bad.”

“Now, next time, we’ll talk about what we were really talking about underneath all of this.”

As tensions continue to build this season, it’s clear this situation is far from over — even with the apology on the table.
