Kenya Moore is sharing a reflective message with fans after weeks of headlines and speculation surrounding her.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram with a lengthy post about her legacy, her impact, and how she plans to move forward despite recent criticism.
In the message, Kenya reflected on a moment from her past that she says helped inspire young Black girls around the world.
“Years ago, I became part of a moment in history that helped change how little Black girls around the world saw themselves,” she wrote.
“Girls who once felt they were not seen, not pretty or not worthy began to see beauty, possibility, and power reflected back at them.”
Kenya added that being part of that shift is something she carries with pride.
“Knowing that I helped shift that perception is something I will carry with humility and gratitude for the rest of my life.”
She also appeared to address the recent conversations and headlines about her.
“Recently there have been headlines and voices trying to rewrite my story, but the truth is simple: I am in control of my own destiny. No one moment, no one mistake, can define the entirety of who I am or the impact I’ve had.”
Looking ahead, the reality star said she is focused on growth and accountability.
“My purpose is still unfolding. I am committed to evolving, to becoming a better person, and to make better choices – not only for myself, but for those same little girls and their little girls who look up to me.”
She also noted that her daughter remains a major motivation.
“And for my daughter who watches everything I do.”
Kenya ended the message by thanking the fans who have continued supporting her.
“To my fans who have stood beside me through it all, thank you for your unwavering support. This moment means more than words express.”
“I promise to continue striving to be someone worthy of that love – today, tomorrow, and always.”
