Carole Radziwill is responding directly after her name resurfaced in online discussions tied to newly released documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, and the former Real Housewives of New York City star is making it clear she wants distance from Ghislaine Maxwell.
After a fan account shared screenshots on Reddit claiming Radziwill appeared in emails with Maxwell from 2005, Carole allegedly replied in direct messages, expressing shock and disgust at Maxwell’s crimes.
“Imagine thinking you know someone and then finding out she’s a monster,” Radziwill allegedly wrote. “I have no idea who she’s writing to or what the Tatler piece is, maybe they were reviewing my book? I haven’t seen her in nearly two decades. It’s sooo creepy. Thank you for letting me know.”
In another message, she reportedly added:
“I never knew Epstein. [Ghislaine] was living with another bf the whole time I knew her. Ted Waitt. Super rich guy but he seemed cool. I wonder why he isn’t in all her emails. The real powerful men will never be held accountable. It’s so f**ked up.”
Radziwill also suggested the renewed attention may be politically motivated, writing:
“I feel like some of the Ghislaine stories using my picture are click bait from MAGA upset that I called Trump out as a rapist on RHONY in 2017. Which makes all of this even more disgusting by association.”
She clarified that she hadn’t realized the exchange would be posted publicly, allegedly responding:
“Oh you posted it. I thought you were sending it to me. Okay.”
The alleged emails between Radziwill and Maxwell date back to 2005 and appear casual in nature. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for sex trafficking-related charges. Epstein died in 2019 while awaiting trial.
Bethenny Frankel also weighed in after resurfaced documents reignited scrutiny around her former Real Housewives of New York City co-star Carole Radziwill and Radziwill’s past social connection to convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a Saturday Instagram video, Bethenny addressed the headlines carefully, stopping short of direct accusations but making it clear the topic is uncomfortable territory.
“What I do know is that Carole has been friendly with many notable women,” Bethenny said, listing high-profile figures including Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, Cassandra Huysentruyt and Christiane Amanpour. Bethenny framed Radziwill’s social circle as historically elite, suggesting Maxwell was one name among many in a broader network of powerful acquaintances.
Still, Bethenny couldn’t resist referencing the tension that has lingered between them since their RHONY fallout.
“I do know that Carole has taken many opportunities to swipe at me, dig at me, speak negatively about me in a post-show world,” Bethenny said. “When the show is going, it’s fair game. But in a post-show world, she has certainly gone for it.”
She added pointedly: “I’m not going to do the same. It’s not my business.”
