RHOP star Angel Massie is speaking out after viewers took things way too far — and started targeting her real-life business.
Following the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, fans began flooding Google with negative reviews for Angel’s company, Wanderland Outdoors, prompting the Bravo star to publicly call out what she described as “disgusting behavior.”
Angel’s business, which focuses on luxury outdoor experiences, glamping, and curated nature expeditions, was featured on the show when she attempted to give her castmates a taste of what Wanderland offers. However, what was meant to be a high-end outdoor adventure quickly turned into one of the most criticized trips of the season.
During the episode, several of the women made it clear they would have preferred staying at the Four Seasons in Colorado instead of participating in Angel’s planned fly-fishing and outdoor activities. The trip appeared disorganized, and the accommodations and logistics became a major talking point — and not in a good way.
Shortly after the episode aired, Wanderland Outdoors’ Google page was hit with a wave of negative reviews from people who admitted they had never actually used the company’s services.
One reviewer wrote:
“Based off of what you provided the ladies on RHOP, I would never use your services. How do you not know how to provide basic needs, get everyone to where they need to go and just be a good host! I think you definitely need to attend a course in hospitality.”
Angel didn’t stay silent. She fired back directly, writing:
“It’s really very sad that you would leave a comment on a business page that you have:
a. Never patronized or spent money at.
b. Are leaving a review based off-of a highly edited TV show.
c. Have such a parasocial relationship with reality TV that you’d take the time out of your day to try to end another woman’s business, based off of what?
When you’re ready to touch grass, we are here to take you on a mindful hike. Until then, know that we continue to be very proud of our co-founder and CEO.”
Another user, under the name “Kandi apple,” left a similarly harsh review, referencing the episode:
“I watched the show Housewives of Potomac and I would never come for the experience… the experience of getting an Airbnb with no running water and Angel was a horrible host how do u get lost for your own event.. thank you but no thank u.”
Angel again responded bluntly:
“Kandi we’d never offer one to you — on that, we are aligned. Please touch grass. This review is fraudulent as your name.”
The situation escalated further when Angel took to Threads to address the wave of negative feedback more broadly. Sharing a screenshot of the bad reviews, she wrote:
“Disgusting behavior. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what I’ve endured from some fans this season. I don’t care what anybody says, this isn’t normal.”
The situation has sparked a larger conversation among fans about the line between reacting to reality TV drama and actively trying to damage someone’s livelihood. While viewers may have strong opinions about what they see on screen, review bombing a business based on a highly edited episode has many questioning how far is too far.
