Joe Gorga Says He Missed “Almost Everything” About Teresa Giudice During Their Estrangement

Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga continue to peel back the layers of their reconciliation, and this time, the conversation turned emotional, nostalgic, and very sibling-coded.

On a recent episode of Teresa’s podcast, Turning the Tables, the siblings answered fan questions about the years they spent estranged and what they missed most about each other during that time. For fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it was a rare moment of softness after more than a decade of public family conflict.

One fan asked Joe a pointed but heartfelt question: what did he miss most about Teresa — not the arguments, but the actual connection.

“I’ll be honest with you, almost everything,” Joe said. “We had an amazing relationship. We were, again, we were best friends.”

Joe went on to describe the small, everyday moments that stood out the most — especially Teresa’s unintentional humor.

“And just her silliness, because she’s funny as f**k,” he said. “She really is. And not trying to be funny. She’s just, her normal things of every day.”

Teresa’s producer Pat chimed in, “She’s one of the funniest people I know. She’s hilarious. She doesn’t even know she’s doing it. She’s not even doing it to be funny. Like when I called you before the recording, you were eating chicken cutlet,” he said. “I’m like, what are you eating? You go chicken cutlet. It just was hilarious.”

Joe Gorga added, “She doesn’t know how funny she is, but she’s just, so yeah, all that, the humor and basically like, listen, missing having a sister. I mean, which is being normal, and calling somebody and now we could call each other. It’s great.”

Teresa’s tone shifted when she reflected on why their estrangement hurt as deeply as it did.

“Well, we only have each other,” Teresa said. “My parents are not here anymore, so we only have each other.”

Joe agreed, admitting that reality weighed heavily on him during the years they weren’t speaking.

“Yeah, I know. That was the biggest thing that really hurt me a lot, because we were like, our parents are gone and we’re not talking,” he said. “So it wasn’t good.”

He added, “It wasn’t a good feeling, but now that would never happen again. Right, Tre?”

“Yes. Yes,” Teresa confirmed — before immediately slipping back into classic sibling banter.

“Unless you say something wrong,” she joked.

“Here we go,” Joe replied.

“Then I’ll have to kick your ass,” Teresa said.

“There you go,” Joe laughed.

Teresa continued, “Old school time, if you say something. You know what they say? They say, I will be watching.”

Joe wrapped the exchange in a way longtime RHONJ fans will recognize instantly — equal parts love, sarcasm, and acceptance.

“Yeah. They point you out, you said that. See, I’m very chill,” Joe said. “You could say whatever you want to me. It goes in one ear and out the other. Then I’ll think about it three days, I’m like, I said that, but I don’t give a s**t.”

After years of explosive fights, shifting alliances, and painful distance, moments like this feel less like reality-TV content and more like two siblings finally finding their way back to each other, chicken cutlets, sarcasm, and all.
