Angie Katsanevas is having a little fun with a viral Lisa Barlow moment.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star reacted after a clip began circulating of Ben Affleck being asked about an alleged meeting with Lisa, something viewers will remember being referenced earlier this season. In the video, Affleck appeared unsure, saying he didn’t recall ever meeting her — a response that quickly took on a life of its own online.
As fans debated the moment, Angie jumped into the comments section of a Bravo fan page with a tongue-in-cheek remark.
“Ben didn’t know Lisa but he recognized Celia,” Angie wrote, referencing her beloved poodle — a callback longtime RHOSLC viewers immediately recognized after Mary Cosby once blamed the dog for farting during a season 6 scene.
Rather than reading as malicious, the comment landed more as a wink to fans who understand the show’s humor and inside jokes, especially given the long-running, sometimes tense but often playful dynamic between Angie and Lisa.
The Ben Affleck mention dates back to a season 6 episode in which Lisa explained why she wouldn’t be attending Angie’s girls’ trip. During a FaceTime call, Lisa vented about her issues with Bronwyn Newport before pivoting to her packed schedule.
“I think what people forget is I have a very full life,” Lisa said, adding that she keeps much of it private. While explaining she had a work commitment, she casually referenced being around A-list names, including Ben Affleck and Blake Lively.
Once Affleck was later asked about the moment, he appeared cautious in his response, saying he didn’t want to embarrass anyone and noting that he meets many people.
“I don’t want to get anybody in trouble,” he told Access Hollywood. “You don’t remember everyone you meet.”
After the clip went viral, Lisa clarified the situation herself, offering context that had been missing from the initial discussion. Commenting under Access Hollywood’s post, she explained that she met Affleck at SXSW during the premiere of The Accountant 2.
“SXSW [for] The Accountant 2,” Lisa wrote. “And it was a great movie and party.”
While the internet quickly turned the moment into a meme, Lisa’s response grounded it — reminding fans that quick clips don’t always capture the full story.
