Dolores Catania isn’t holding back when it comes to what she sees as a major double standard on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During the December 19 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Dolores joined Tamra Judge to break down the latest RHOBH drama — and the conversation quickly turned to what viewers are and aren’t being shown on screen.
As fans know, Kyle Richards has continued to sidestep questions about her off-camera relationship, explaining that it ultimately ended due to the pressure of having it play out on reality TV. At the same time, Erika Jayne also appears to be keeping her dating life largely off-limits this season.
For Dolores, that raised some red flags.
“No one gets away with what Beverly Hills gets away with, with not talking about their life,” she said.
Tamra pushed back slightly, offering a possible explanation. “I think that Kyle’s hands are tied, like she wants to talk about it, but the other person doesn’t want to be mentioned,” she said.
But Dolores wasn’t convinced this was just a one-off situation. Instead, she suggested it’s part of a long-standing pattern — and one that wouldn’t fly on other franchises.
She argued that avoiding personal storylines isn’t acceptable in “everyone else’s world,” adding that similar situations elsewhere would trigger serious consequences behind the scenes.
“A lot of other people’s other people don’t want to be involved,” Dolores said. “I can name some boyfriends who don’t want to be involved, yet people are told, ‘Then we have to rethink your status.’”
While Dolores stopped short of naming names, the implication was clear — and it’s something RHOBH fans have been calling out for years. Whether it’s different production standards or simply a Beverly Hills bubble, her comments seemed to validate the growing belief that this cast plays by a different set of rules.
And while Dolores didn’t spill all the tea, she definitely stirred the pot enough to get people talking.
