Vicki Gunvalson is already shaking things up, and she hasn’t even officially stepped back into the Real Housewives of Orange County confessional yet.

After Andy Cohen announced at BravoCon 2025 that the original Housewife would be returning to RHOC eight years after her exit, Gunvalson is making it clear she’s not easing back in quietly. In fact, she’s sounding very much like the Vicki fans remember.

Fresh off the big reveal, the longtime Bravo staple appeared on Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast, where she didn’t hold back when asked about the current state of RHOC, or her fellow cast members.

When Nick asked her who she thinks is the least interesting Housewife on the Orange County cast, Vicki didn’t single anyone out. Instead, she went for everyone.

“I think they’re all irrelevant,” she said with a smile. “RHOC, to me, has just become stupid. The majority of the people that I speak with have said, ‘You gotta come on and get the stupid out.’”

Gunvalson also weighed in on another long-running RHOC debate, whether Heather Dubrow belongs in the “funny” category. Vicki didn’t mince words, suggesting Heather doesn’t exactly bring the laughs.

Nick followed up by asking whether her co-stars should be worried about her return. Vicki’s response was classic Gunvalson.

“Well, they all should be,” she answered.

Still, Vicki made it clear she’s not coming for everyone equally. She came to the defense of Katie Ginella, questioning why viewers and castmates have been so hard on her.

“I don’t even know why people are mad at Katie. Catch her in lies, I guess? Everybody lies,” she said.

But when asked whether Katie should return to the show, Vicki seemed less convinced.

“I don’t know why she would want to,” she added.

As for Kelly Dodd, Vicki offered a more measured take, acknowledging her polarizing personality while making it clear where she stands.

“I think she’s just got a fiery personality. I mean, I like Kelly. As long as Kelly likes you, everything’s great.”

She also crowned Slade Smiley as the “thirstiest husband” on the franchise, a title that’s sure to raise eyebrows among longtime viewers.

With cameras set to roll and Vicki already reclaiming her no-filter energy, it’s clear her return isn’t just nostalgic — it’s disruptive. And if her podcast comments are any indication, RHOC may be heading into one of its messiest eras yet.
