Melissa and Joe Gorga are kicking off the holidays with something even more meaningful than decorations and family gatherings, a renewed bond with Teresa Giudice that they say has moved far past slow progress. After years of tension and a long estrangement, the couple shared that their relationship with Teresa is in a much better place.

Speaking to E! News at a special screening of The Housemaid in New York City on December 2, Melissa revealed just how far things have come. “We’ve made a lot of progress,” she said. “It’s great. Everything’s good.”
As a sign of how much the family dynamic has shifted, Melissa confirmed that a beloved tradition is officially returning. “We’re having Christmas Eve at my house this year, so we’ll be together at my house,” she shared. “It’s crazy, because you never know, right? Never say never.”
The ups and downs between Melissa, Joe, and Teresa have played out publicly on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, with the relationship hitting a major low point when Melissa and Joe skipped Teresa’s 2022 wedding to Luis Ruelas. But today, Joe insists they’re long past cautious progress.

“Everyone says it’s baby steps,” he told E!, “but no, we’re back to normal.”
Joe—who shares Antonia, 20, Gino, 18, and Joey Jr., 15, with Melissa—added that the entire ordeal taught him a powerful lesson moving forward: “Forgive, forgive, forgive and be happy in life.”
With Christmas Eve bringing the families under the same roof again, it looks like the Gorgas and Giudices are truly entering a new chapter—one that’s no longer about baby steps, but full strides toward peace.
