Emily Simpson is not holding back. The Real Housewives of Orange County star just unleashed a new round of intel about the cast’s fractured relationships — and she’s naming names.
Speaking on Virtual Reali-Tea, via Reality Blurb, Emily made it clear that Katie Ginella’s standing with the group hasn’t exactly improved since the reunion… and she took aim at Katie’s relationship with Tamra Judge, calling it the “fakest friendship” she’s ever witnessed.
Katie Ginella Left the Reunion With Zero Reconciliations
Emily revealed that, despite whatever fans thought might happen, Katie ended the reunion no closer to the cast than when she walked in.
“I don’t think that she left the reunion like reuniting with any of us at all,” Simpson said, noting that Katie arrived expecting apologies — but wasn’t willing to give any.
According to Simpson, the math wasn’t mathing:
Simpson said Katie “went in having the expectation that all of us are supposed to apologize to her,” but she didn’t see that energy go both ways. She added that Katie “should also apologize” for her own behavior, explaining Katie has “made it a mission to defame all of us offline and to perpetuate false stories about us.”
Simpson continued, saying, “There’s a lot of things … that we didn’t bring up because we just didn’t want to bring them up, but we’re aware and we know about it.”
Emily: Katie Never Tried to Build Real Relationships
Emily argued that it’s nearly impossible to move forward with someone who never tried to form genuine friendships to begin with.
“It’s hard to forge a path forward with someone when they didn’t take the time or effort to try to build any type of friendship from the get-go,” she said.
And then came the dagger:
“As far as her and Tamra,” Emily said, “if that’s not the fakest friendship I’ve ever seen, I can’t even call that a friendship. What is that?”
The Tamra-Gretchen Drama Continues
On the season finale, Tamra Judge pulled out screenshots allegedly showing Gretchen Rossi “liking” homophobic posts — only for Gina Kirschenheiter to confirm that there was no actual proof Gretchen ever interacted with the content.
In the final episode, a source even claimed Tamra herself fed information to a blogger to take Gretchen down. In the reunion trailer, Gretchen teased she came armed with evidence that she was set up.
Emily Says Tamra Started the Blogger Drama and Accuses Katie of Recording Shannon
Emily didn’t hesitate to call out who she believes is the real instigator behind the blogger situation.
“Tamra’s the one that brought up the blogger in the beginning,” she said, pointing out that Tamra “put everything out there.”
And Emily wasn’t done: she also accused Katie of secretly “record[ing] Shannon” last year.
For Emily, Katie misdirecting her anger is baffling.
“If Katie wants to be pissed at anyone … Tamra should be number one on her list,” she said, calling the logic “not even logical.”
Gretchen Brought a “Binder” of Receipts
As for how the reunion unfolded, Emily revealed that Gretchen Rossi went full detective mode.
She shared that Gretchen had “forensics” done and came equipped with a full “binder of information” regarding her claim that Tamra orchestrated the homophobic-post scandal.
While Emily doesn’t think either side produced a true “smoking gun,” she does believe Gretchen “spoke to [the issue] really well.”
Where Things Stand
Between accusations of leaked info, alleged recordings, fake friendships, and binders stuffed with receipts, the RHOC drama shows no signs of slowing.
And if Emily Simpson is this outspoken now, imagine what didn’t make it onto camera.
