Andy Cohen is weighing in on the most surprising twist to come out of BravoCon: the long-awaited reconciliation between Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga, along with Melissa Gorga.
And according to the Watch What Happens Live host, he’s now more convinced than ever that the renewed family bond is genuine.
During a fan Q&A in front of a packed BravoCon crowd, Cohen was asked directly whether he believes the rekindled peace among the Gorgas and Giudices is real.
“I hope that it is absolutely as it appears,” Andy said to the cheering room full of Bravo fans. “And I will say I had a really great conversation with Gia the other night. And, you know, Gia is someone who has no ulterior motives that I can see.”
Cohen went on to praise “the kids of the Housewives”—a group he says always “just tell it like it is.” He then elaborated on his conversation with the “very pure” Next Gen NYC cast member.
The Bravo boss continued, “Gia told me some things that really made me think, ‘Wow, this seems really legit.’ … I wish them all the best.”
And Cohen’s instincts appear aligned with Gia’s own sentiments. Speaking the following day during BravoCon Day 3’s I Got It from My Momma panel, Gia shared her emotional reaction to the latest family development. She admitted she was “so happy” with where things stand, adding, “All I ever wanted forever. My uncle was my best friend.”
During BravoCon, Joe Gorga also spoke on things saying, “There are no more teams because it’s been too long, and it’s sad,” Joe told fans. “I want her in my life. I want my nieces in my life. We need to be together. We met, and it was really sentimental, and it was nice.”
Between Andy Cohen’s stamp of authenticity and emotional confirmations from both Gia and Joe, Bravo fans may finally be witnessing the beginning of a true family reunion—one many have been hoping to see for more than a decade.
