Luann de Lesseps is no stranger to Bravo, but now it looks like the next generation of her family might be stepping into the spotlight.
In a recent interview on Jeff Lewis Live, the Real Housewives of New York alum revealed that her daughter Victoria de Lesseps is in talks to join Next Gen NYC, a Bravo show focused on the lives of young New Yorkers.
“Victoria’s very much like that and an artist as well. And a writer,” Luann said. “I mean, they’re both really artistic and I love that about them. They’re not cookie cutter.”
Luann explained that fame hasn’t really been a goal for her children. “Listen, they never really wanted to be famous, otherwise they would be on all these other shows or been on my show a lot. It’s not their thing,” she said.
But that may be changing. “Except for Victoria recently said to me, ‘You know, I think I should go on Next Gen,’” Luann revealed. “I’m like, ‘I think that would be a great idea for her to be on Next Gen.’”
Co-host Shane Douglas responded, “Such a cute show. I love that.” Jeff Lewis added, “You should talk to Andy about it.”
Luann quickly replied, “I already spoke to Andy about it.”
When asked how that conversation went, she dropped this bit of news: “Oh, she’s already in touch with casting, so, you know, I hope they’re gonna take her on that show because I think she could bring a lot to that show.”
With casting talks already underway, Victoria de Lesseps may soon be following in her mother’s footsteps — with a modern, artistic twist.
