In a surprising turn of events, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania was left nearly speechless after hearing that longtime friend Teresa Giudice may be softening her stance toward her estranged brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

While appearing on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, Dolores was stunned when Tamra brought up Teresa’s recent comments about the possibility of reconciliation.

“Teresa seemed very open to making up with her brother and sister-in-law,” Tamra said, prompting an immediately stunned reaction from Dolores.

“I am going to have to listen to that before I can get into this conversation,” Dolores replied, clearly taken aback.

@just_bookin_around This is very telling that Dolores is shocked by these comments, I would think she was abreast of where they all stand in regards to the Gorga/Giudice familial relationship. And also, clearly just made amends with Gretchen to film in peace. Which is great because I don’t want a season of rehashing the past, I’ve watched every season 5 times. ?Two Ts in a Pod, September 11 ?: BravoTV #fyp #bravo #bravotv #peacock ? original sound – Just Bookin’ Around

The comments Tamra referred to came from a candid moment during Teresa’s appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, where she was joined by her daughter, Gia Giudice. When Jeff Lewis asked, “Do you think there is a world where you can coexist with Melissa and Joe and Margaret and all of these people? Do you think that you could get to a place?” — Teresa, previously steadfast in her stance, responded with a cautious but unexpected:

“I mean, never say never.”

The statement marks a subtle but significant shift in Teresa’s tone. Her daughter Gia, always vocal about her desire for peace in the family, chimed in with a firm nudge toward maturity:

“Put her big girl panties on.”

Jeff backed the sentiment, emphasizing the need for mutual accountability:

“You have to let it go. Well, you kind of have to address the past. You kind of have to address it and be like, ‘I’m accountable for this and this and this. I did this, I’m sorry for this,’ and they do the same.”

But even with that context, Dolores wasn’t ready to fully process what she was hearing on the podcast. Still stunned, she asked Tamra,

“So Gia and Teresa were very open to making up with Zio Joe and Zia Melissa?”

When Tamra confirmed with a simple, “Yeah,” Dolores could only say:

“Oh.”

Tamra clarified that while Teresa may be willing to move forward, she also acknowledged that some past wounds need to be dealt with first:

“She did say they can’t go backwards. I think for in order to go forward, you have to deal with some of the backwards stuff or it’s just going to come up again.”

That’s when Dolores fully acknowledged just how unexpected the news was for her:

“Honestly, this is all very big news to me. Huge news. And I’d really like to listen.”

Tamra, clearly skeptical about the timing and sincerity of the shift, added her own spin to the situation:

“It’s all very suspicious.”

As RHONJ fans brace for a new season, this apparent crack in Teresa’s emotional wall, and Dolores’ reaction to it, suggests that things behind the scenes may be changing more than anyone expected.
