Gina Kirschenheiter is calling out the truth. During a jaw-dropping appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of Orange County star called out fellow Housewife Heather Dubrow for leaking sensitive details about Katie Ginella’s custody battle, details that ended up surfacing during last season’s reunion.
Host Andy Cohen asked Gina to explain why she seemed critical of Katie sharing personal information with Emily’s former nanny, but not equally upset at Emily Simpson for bringing up Katie’s custody battle during the reunion. Gina’s response peeled back the layers.
“I actually told Emily at the table, ‘You should apologize for digging into her past,’” Gina explained on the August 7 episode of WWHL. “When I think something crosses the line, I say it. And I definitely thought that did.”
But here’s where things got really revealing.
According to Gina, Emily wasn’t the one who went looking for the information about Katie’s custody issues in the first place.
“You might be surprised to hear this,” she said, pausing for a moment before dropping the bombshell: “Emily didn’t do the research. She didn’t dig that up. She found out about it right before the reunion.”
And the source of that information? None other than Heather Dubrow.
“It was Dubrow,” Gina confessed. “And I love her, but she’s the one who told Emily about it. That’s just the truth. I don’t know how she found out, maybe someone told her, but it didn’t come from Emily.”
So, despite Heather’s outward disapproval of Katie and her supposed concern for boundaries, it appears she was the one stirring the pot behind the scenes, digging through personal history and leaking sensitive information ahead of the reunion.
Fans are now questioning whether Heather’s polished exterior hides a more strategic, behind-the-scenes player. Is this a case of housewife hypocrisy, or just another day in the OC?
