Gia Giudice may have grown up in front of reality TV cameras, but now she’s stepping into her own spotlight, and making sure fans see more than just her last name.

As the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, Gia has long lived under the public eye. So when she joined the cast of Next Gen NYC, a new reality series spotlighting the children of celebrities and public figures, expectations were high, and so were the comparisons.
“I know people wanted to see my fiery, Italian side. Teresa Giudice is my mom, after all,” Gia admitted in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish. But while she’s aware of the public’s expectations, Gia is determined to carve out her own identity.
“I also want fans to see how hard I work and that I’m passionate about being a young entrepreneur and setting an example for my sisters,” she explained. Watching the season unfold gave her some important insight into how she presents herself and what she hopes to improve moving forward. “Every episode gave me more insight into how I come across and how I want to grow,” she said. “I’m passionate and always stand up for what I believe in, but I’m learning that I don’t always need to insert myself into everything.”
Though the season came with its fair share of drama and difficult moments, Gia said she remained true to herself. “I want this show to reflect who I really am — someone who loves her family, works hard, and is building something meaningful,” she shared. “I’m grateful for the support I’ve received as well as the growth opportunities that have come from this experience.”

Through the ups and downs, Gia also learned the value of slowing down and letting go of control. “I’ve learned to be more mindful and not as quick to react,” she reflected. “I also realized that I sometimes naturally go into ‘older sister protective mode’ instead of letting my hair down and just going with the flow.”
While she didn’t get into the specifics of every conflict, audiences saw Gia navigate personal and group challenges alongside fellow castmates including Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy, and Charlie Zakkour.
Now, Gia is focused on showing viewers the full picture — not just the headlines. “I definitely want people to be able to see more sides to my personality, especially the light-hearted side,” she said.
