Emily Simpson isn’t holding back when it comes to Gretchen Rossi’s claims about Tamra Judge’s marriage. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Emily reacted to Gretchen’s suggestion that Tamra had been unfaithful to her husband, Eddie Judge, 52.
“I found the situation with Gretchen and Tamra exhausting,” Emily said. “I felt like it could’ve been resolved easily, but it wasn’t—it just lingered.”
She didn’t stop there. Emily also called out Gretchen for hypocrisy. “Everything Gretchen accuses Tamra of doing or being, she does herself,” Emily said bluntly.
When asked about Tamra’s brief departure from production, Emily shared that Tamra “allegedly” quit “more than once,” though she admitted she didn’t know the exact reasons.
“I don’t know if it had to do with Gretchers or not,” she said. “I just felt like Tamra was different this year—maybe because of therapy. I felt like she was really feeling things more than before. Usually, she’s more stoic, more Tamra, more, ‘I don’t give a shit’ kind of attitude.”
Emily also reflected on Tamra’s emotional state during filming, particularly in light of Teddi Mellencamp’s battle with cancer.
“She was having a hard time,” Emily noted. “Teddi to her is like Gina is to me, I don’t even think I could’ve handled it. So I have a lot of sympathy for what she was going through.”
Despite any on-camera drama, Emily confirmed that she and Tamra are still close.
“We’re good friends,” she said. “I respect Tamra. I think she respects me. Tamra and I are fine—at least from my perspective. If you ask her, she might say something different, because I think she was mad about something I said in an article a couple of weeks ago.”
Emily added with a laugh, “And I was like, ‘You haven’t even seen the show yet.’”
