Reality TV feuds don’t just play out on screen—they spill into podcasts and Instagram comments too. The latest tension? The Valley star Michelle Saniei and Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay are taking a stand after Real Housewives alums Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge launched into a harsh critique of Michelle’s role on the Bravo spinoff.
During the May 7 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi didn’t hold back:
“I wish Michelle would talk about something other than Jesse. I’m like, ‘You two, please start talking about anybody else.’”
Tamra chimed in with even harsher words, calling Michelle robotic:
“Well, Michelle knows how to suck the air out of every scene she’s in, and I think she’s AI… Michelle never showing any emotion is just so bizarre to me. It’s like, ‘Hello? Do you have a pulse in there? Is there something going on? Do we need to change your batteries?’”
Teddi doubled down, adding,
“Every time I watch her, I’m like, ‘I miss Botox so much.’”
Their comments didn’t sit well with Michelle—who responded directly after the podcast clip was shared on Instagram.
“Hi! I am a real person! A human being, not AI,” she wrote sarcastically. “You really don’t know me, but thanks for the support. Real girls girl.”
She went on to reveal the emotional weight she’s been carrying behind the scenes:
“I was going through a nasty divorce and my mom was in chemo. And btw I’ve never done Botox in my life.”
Scheana Shay came to Michelle’s defense, calling out Teddi and Tamra for their lack of empathy.
“Those who actually KNOW you, know this and love you for YOU! You’d think women who have been on reality TV would understand that there’s always more to the story than shown,” she wrote. “I get it, they’re doing their job but it’s WILD to me how people are siding w Jesse. They just don’t know the whole story… yet.”
Scheana also reminded fans that Michelle’s storyline isn’t one-note, pointing to moments that showed her in a more positive light:
“What else is she supposed to talk about when Jesse is literally terrorizing her at every turn? ALSO: she had a sweet and nice scene with [boyfriend Aaron Nosler]. [Let’s] not…”
In reply to a fan defending Michelle, Scheana added:
“Yep! And just bc that’s what we are seeing doesn’t mean that’s all she talks about. Trust me.”
In the ever-dramatic Bravo universe, it seems this latest clash is just one more reminder: There’s always more going on than what’s edited into a 42-minute episode.
