Even though Lisa Vanderpump and Garcelle Beauvais never shared the screen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the two quickly struck up a real-life friendship after Lisa’s exit from the series in 2019. Now, years later, the two ladies have something else in common — they’ve both officially left RHOBH behind.
Following Garcelle’s recent announcement that she would be stepping away from the franchise, Lisa weighed in on the decision during a chat with TMZ in April 2025. “Oh, she’s a wonderful woman. I’m sure she’s moving on to other things,” Lisa shared. “It kind of served her well, and I wish her lots of luck…”
Lisa has long spoken highly of Garcelle. Back in February, she told Us Weekly, “I love Garcelle. I actually think she’s probably one of the only ones I would have anything in common with. I think she’s a really hard working, down-to-earth woman and I have a lot of respect for her…”
The two first connected when Lisa hosted a charity event for Haiti at her West Hollywood hotspot, TomTom. Garcelle, who is Haitian, immediately felt a connection. “There was Haitian music blaring. There were more Haitians than I knew there were in California that night there,” Garcelle told The Daily Dish in 2022. “So I just fell in love with what she was doing.”
Their bond only grew from there. Lisa even gave Garcelle’s eldest son, Oliver Saunders, a job at her Las Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump à Paris, solidifying their friendship further.
As for whether Lisa might consider a return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the answer remains unchanged. When asked by TMZ if she’d ever pick her diamond back up, Lisa made it clear: “That’s a hard no.”
