On the dramatic Part 3 finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, Kyle Richards gave fans a deeper look into what went wrong in her decades-long marriage to Mauricio Umansky.

Host Andy Cohen didn’t shy away from addressing the signs viewers have picked up on, including Kyle quietly removing “wife” from her Instagram bio last year. Kyle finally spoke about the move, revealing it came after photos surfaced of Mauricio getting cozy with another woman in Mykonos back in July 2024.
“I wasn’t about to have ‘wife’ in my bio while he was out with other women. Why would I?” Kyle explained.
As the conversation unfolded, Andy asked whether Kyle’s own DMs had been active since stepping away from her marriage — and Kyle admitted they have, though she brushed them off as “random” messages from both men and women, none of whom caught her interest.
The conversation then shifted to a topic that’s clearly been a sore spot for Kyle — social media. She revealed how it played a major part in the unraveling of their relationship, pointing out how women would constantly slide into Mauricio’s DMs throughout their marriage.

“The attention he was getting… women are snakes,” Kyle confessed. “They see a successful man, a great father, someone who’s doing well financially, and they just throw themselves at him. We got married so young, and I think not having the chance to live that single, carefree life contributed to where we ended up.”
This isn’t the first time Kyle Richards has brought up concerns about Mauricio’s online interactions. During Season 13, she was vocal about believing married men should steer clear of chatting with other women on social media. In fact, she admitted to having arguments with Mauricio about it in the past. “He gets a lot of DMs, and those women don’t care he’s married. They’re aggressive — it’s disgusting,” she said in a confessional.
When Andy asked about where things currently stand between the two, Kyle Richards revealed that while neither of them has officially filed for divorce, they’re no longer living as husband and wife.
“We still talk every day, we’re close… but it’s sad. You spend 30 years with someone — we built a beautiful life together. It hurts when you look back on it,” Kyle said through tears.
She also shared her regrets, admitting she wishes both she and Mauricio had done a better job communicating before things fell apart.
“It’s a loss I’ll always feel,” Kyle Richards said, holding back emotion. “For my kids, for myself, for the life we created. I just wish we’d handled things differently when the cracks started to show.”
