Gia Giudice Breaks Silence on Teresa Giudice’s Tax Debt: "Everything Will Be Resolved"

Gia Giudice is putting rumors to rest and offering her perspective on her mom’s current financial situation. On the latest episode of her podcast, Casual Chaos, the 24-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, addressed the recent news that Teresa and her husband, Luis Ruelas, are facing over $3 million in tax liens.

Gia Giudice Breaks Silence on Teresa Giudice’s Tax Debt: “Everything Will Be Resolved”

Despite the headlines and public scrutiny, Gia says she’s not losing sleep over the situation and is confident her mom has everything under control. “So we have had a lot of positive moments this week and some negative moments,” Gia said on March 30, acknowledging the challenges her family has faced. “I’m sure you all have seen the news, and a lot of you have been commenting on the Casual Chaos Instagram wondering if I will comment on this topic. I told you guys that I want to be real with you, and I’m commenting on it. So let’s start from the beginning a little bit.”

Gia was quick to emphasize that her mom, Teresa, has always been a rock for her family. Since her father, Joe Giudice, began his prison sentence in 2015 for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud, Teresa has been the sole provider for her children. “My mom has been the sole provider for my sisters and I since the minute my father left for prison,” Gia shared, reflecting on her family’s journey.

Even after Teresa’s own stint in prison, which lasted nearly a year before she was released in December 2015, Gia said her mom continued to work tirelessly to ensure a stable life for her children. “I can’t stress enough how much my mom has worked,” Gia said, showing her admiration for her mother’s dedication.

While the news of Teresa and Luis’ tax debt might raise concerns for some, Gia reassured fans that there’s no need for alarm. “Everything will be resolved. My mom has everything under control and there’s nothing to worry about,” she confidently stated.

Gia also shared her appreciation for her stepdad, Luis Ruelas, who married Teresa in August 2022. “My stepdad, Louis, is the most amazing stepfather. He treats my sisters and I like we are his own. He is also working on getting everything resolved as well,” she said, offering a heartfelt shout-out to the man she now calls family.

Despite the challenges, Gia stressed that her family is doing just fine. “We’re doing perfectly fine over here,” she said, thanking fans for their concern. With Teresa and Luis working together to resolve the situation, Gia’s message was clear: there’s no need to worry.

For those who may have missed the details, records show that Teresa owes just under $304,000 in taxes, while Luis is facing a bill, totaling nearly $2.6 million. But for Gia, it’s business as usual. “Everything’s going to be fine,” she reassured listeners with a smile in her voice.

Why is it only news if it’s Teresa family life with taxes and such ? She’s not the only person in America’s right now getting billed / owes , etc . Hell even her cart mates have monetary issues, bills, suits . Just because hers somehow it’s “ omg back to prison” - why lol? Can we like wait a minute and see if shit gets paid or no ?

As usual, there is so much more than we the fans aren't privy to. Case in point; in New Jersey, you are generally not responsible for your spouse's debts unless you co-signed or jointly agreed to the debt, or it was incurred for the benefit of the marriage. Also, did they file taxes jointly or separately? Another huge factor ... there's a huge difference in NOT filing and acknowledge the tax debt and working on a payment plan (a little detail that can land you in prison). On the other hand, is Gia being slightly Pollyanna-ish? Probably.

"My mom has everything under control". Gia gave me my laugh for the day with that one. The entire family is delusional.

Maybe she should consider going on tour with her Uncle Joey. ?

LOL, Gia, the family" lawyer" is almost as ignorant and dumb as her mother. Besides this 300K lien, Teresa also has an active 500K lien from years ago that has yet to be resolved. The con man and Teresa are broke and it's not exactly new news in NJ. Gia also shouldn't worry what people have to say about Bethenny or what Bethenny's daughter will hear, because last time I checked, Beth is not a convicted felon, nor does she owe the state of NJ and our federal government hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sorry, not sorry, Gia , your mother stole millions of dollars and still denies it to this day. She is a piece of trash and didn't learn her lesson after serving time.

I'm sure Teresa will deal with this and sort it out. She's a hard worker. I can't speak for Luis. Glad that Gia is taking this in stride considering there are so many haters that want to see her mother go down.

Yes so crazy people are like “ back to prison” . Why ? Because there are taxes owed that she probably is working on getting taking care of? Imagine wishing that on someone when you don’t the logistics ? And Louie’s shit is his shit .. idc about it. I don’t watch this show for him

Well said. She has a lot of horrible haters out there. I can't get over the names they call her. It's almost unhinged.

‘Resolved’ with (more) jail time perhaps? ? And look, I’m not wishing that on them if they don’t deserve it OR can make proper amends to avoid it, but if these two are the shifty grifters they seem to be? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/21ce30e5e0055af2f22f8429d54d52277bf815c6e37164673321ee032771aebf.gif

Perhaps, Gia's mother should have taken business advice from Melissa People Magazine has reported that Melissa's cookie business brought in over 500K in three short months and now she's adding a sprinkle cookie cake to her repertoire. To think just a few days ago, Teresa was praising her grifting husband's business acumen when she should have been praising her sister-in-law's. ? People Magazine featuring Melissa and her success when just a few days ago they were were reporting about her hateful sister-in-laws hundreds of thousands of dollars debt. Gotta love it!
