Kyle Richards Confirms Truth to Camille Grammer's Take on Mauricio Umansky's Midlife Crisis

In a raw and revealing moment, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards opens up about her emotional journey during her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky. As the conversation begins, Kyle Richards shares a particularly poignant moment about her family’s changing dynamics. Mauricio has planned a trip with their youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, which Kyle acknowledges is a major shift in their family life. “This is the first summer,” Kyle confirms when asked by her therapist if it will be the first summer they don’t spend together. She continues, “I mean, the fact that he took Portia alone…I’ve never been away from Portia like that. Ever.”

“He goes and lives his life. He’s having fun. You know? And I’ve kind of been just working…” she shares. Despite acknowledging that this is a time for both of them to figure things out, Kyle Richards admits to feeling anxious and impatient. “Everyone is like, ‘Are you getting divorced? Are you getting divorced?’ I mean, everybody asks me that,” she says, expressing the uncertainty she’s been grappling with.

She opens up further, explaining, “I’m impatient because I want to know what my life’s gonna be,” noting that she feels the experience has been different for her compared to Mauricio’s. “I think it’s different for men. You know? I mean, he’s just going and living his best life,” she says with a hint of sadness. “He’s a happy little camper.”

Her therapist, Jamie, encourages her to consider her own happiness, asking, “Why can’t you live your best life too?” While Kyle initially deflects, she eventually acknowledges her fears about moving forward, particularly around the idea of dating someone new. She wonders aloud, “Okay, say that I move on with somebody new. And then what if he’s like, ‘Okay, I went and sowed my wild oats,’ or whatever that is, that expression is…”

Her life coach finishes the thought with a pointed question, “And ‘I want to come back?'” Kyle’s emotional journey is laid bare in this heart-wrenching exchange, and the scene ends on an emotional cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see what comes next.

As Kyle navigates this tumultuous time, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues to offer a raw and honest look at her evolving life. With Mauricio “living his best life,” as Kyle puts it, it remains to be seen how Kyle will embrace her own future.

Tune in to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, Episode 13, airing Sunday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET to watch this emotional moment unfold.

I can understand how Kyle feels. I lost the love of my life 4 years ago I was him for over 30 years and it's hard (he died) finally today I went a therapist and I have to say. It was one of the BEST DECISIONS I have made

Why the hell would she have her sessions with her therapist and life coach filmed for TV unless she is that desperate for attention -- and for the sympathy she thinks she can garner. Even the Courts can't breach that confidentiality. Shameful desperation!

Agree, Steve.

Kyle called for the separation, didnt she while she was touring the "world" with her tatooed friend, not giving a thought to Mr. Mau. She was living her best life then too. Regretful much now that he's tasted what pure peace feels like with no intent to return to a victim nagging wife & the realization that her lesbian love was totally one sided. Excuse me for not having much pity for her. She made her own bed, now lie in it & Shut Up.

I always thought it was fake for the cameras. Maybe she thought it would turn Mo on and he'd come running back. IDK.
Starr February 25, 2025 - 4:48 pm
I believed that too & I feel that was part of it, then she began to develop feelings for this youngster, but it wasn't reciprocated & that's when she faced reality & Mau moving on happily without her.

Finally someone brings out the truth! Kyle wouldn't even look at Mo during family dinners with his parents. She was all over the magazines and a video with Morgan, when they were still married . Mo is a handsome man with money, good catch. Mo got the taste of freedom and loves it. She didn't think this out very well. She seems to like playing the victim, it has gotten so old to watch.

It definitely has gotten tired. So much so we can practically predict how Kyle is going to display herself. She is pathetic.

It's hard to completely invest in Kyle's misery knowing that there is a big chunk missing from this equation; that is one Morgan Wade (who has reportedly moved in). This isn't to say Kyle wouldn't still have her solemn moments, but they would be fleeting. Also, I wouldn't rule out that Kyle is really more jealous that Portia is traveling with her dad and not her (which btw, speaks volumes in itself).

I thought the whole Morgan Wade thing was staged. Maybe I missed something.

Mo has always lived his best life which is why there were so many rumours about his stepping out. The only difference is now he doesn't have to hide it. Now say he got sick or something like that, then he would want the support that Kyle would provide. Say what you want about her, she was a loving wife and those are the ones that lose out when a divorce happens. It's always harder for women to find decent men to be with whereas, there's no shortage of women for single or divorced men who are good looking with money. Also, Kyle didn't have a father figure. Those are the women that really do everything for their husbands because they put men on a pedestal. Men who lose their mothers at a young age always seek out a mother figure and usually end up with older women.

I hear you loud & clear, Zap it, what you said is very spot on, but somehow I cant cry for this person as she called for the parting of ways.
Zap It February 25, 2025 - 11:34 am
I can't cry for her either but if real then I do understand even though I've never thankfully gone through it personally.
Starr February 25, 2025 - 4:43 pm
Thank God neither have I, but I know of some who have & truthfully the wives were just like Kyle & I am told the husbands are so much at peace once they were freed from the bondage they were in & are so much happier. One even said it became so much a part of his world that he didn't know of any other till it ended & he tasted freedom.
