Garcelle Beauvais isn’t holding back when it comes to voicing her frustrations with her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Kyle Richards. During a candid moment on the RHOBH aftershow, Garcelle didn’t mince words, offering her unfiltered thoughts on Kyle’s role in the group.
Garcelle Beauvais, who joined the series later than Kyle, has seen firsthand how Kyle tends to open up and share her personal life with viewers. But Garcelle isn’t so sure that Kyle is as willing to be transparent now. “Even before I joined the group, I knew Kyle to be the one to open up and share,” Garcelle remarked. “She’s been on the show for 14 seasons, and she’s shared a lot of her life. But if you no longer want to show a certain part of your life, then maybe it’s time to leave.”
This comment comes amid the ongoing tension surrounding Kyle’s separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. With her marriage in the spotlight, it seems that the dynamics within the RHOBH group have been increasingly strained.
But Garcelle isn’t just calling out Kyle for her selective openness. She’s also standing firm on a comment she made about Kyle, one that has caused some drama between the two. During a previous episode, Garcelle referred to Kyle in a joking manner as a “lesbian,” which sparked some tension between them. Despite Kyle’s claims that they’ve since reconciled, Garcelle isn’t backing down from her words.
When asked by TMZ about the status of their relationship, Garcelle clarified that, although Kyle said they’re “good,” she never intended to hurt her co-star. “I meant it to be encouraging,” Garcelle explained. She also pointed out that she won’t apologize for the comment until Kyle offers an apology of her own for calling Garcelle an “a**hole” during a previous RHOBH aftershow. The two had laughed off the comment at the time, but Garcelle feels it’s important for both sides to own up to their actions.
