One of the most revealing moments of the interview came when Joe Giudice shared details about how Bravo allegedly approached certain family members to stir up conflict and increase drama on the show. According to Joe, Bravo initially reached out to his brother, Pete Giudice, to see if he would get involved in creating tension between him and his sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice.

But Joe’s brother wasn’t having it. Joe explained, “They reached out to my brother, but my brother wouldn’t go against me. He had no interest in going against me.” Pete, who has always been loyal to brother Joe, wasn’t willing to create any drama for the sake of TV ratings, and as a result, Bravo reportedly lost interest in featuring him.

While Pete Giudice refused to engage in any conflict, Joe also revealed how Teresa’s side of the family was much more open to playing the drama game. He stated, “They were all hung ho, ready to go and whatever… Do whatever it took to make that extra buck. So even if it was to slander sister, they didn’t care.” According to Joe, Teresa’s family didn’t hesitate to create controversy for the sake of the show, even if it meant publicly trashing their own family members.

This stark contrast between Pete’s loyalty and the rest of Teresa’s family’s eagerness to stir the pot paints a picture of the lengths some will go to for TV fame and money.

One of the most intense topics that Joe Giudice touched on during the interview was the ongoing tension with his brother-in-law, Joe Gorga. Joe Giudice revealed that Joe Gorga had been trying to get on the show from the very beginning and was willing to go to any length to get the spotlight, even if it meant creating conflict with Joe and Teresa.

Joe shared, “Joe Gorga was trying to get on the show since day one. I couldn’t believe that Joe would come on the show and act the way he did towards his sister when he has kids.”

Pathetic article. Guidice is an ex-con, but you call his interview "candid?" How do you know he's being "candid?" He stole $14 million but you swallow everything he says hook line and sinker! He's "sharing his insights?" He's being "revealing?" You know nothing about reporting or writing. It's you who would "do anything for a buck." Slipshod, incompetent journalism.

That was hard to watch. It was as bad as when Kyle attacked Kim in the limousine. I really felt sorry for Teresa's parents. That scene is proof that the Gorgas were brought on the show to cause trouble for Teresa and her family. Joey came in hot and was just vile. His father collapsed on camera because Joey was screaming at him and accusing him of horrible things. Like I said, it was hard to watch. ?

That scene/story line really did give us a lousy first impression of Joe Gorga. Although he's was able to turn his image around, now almost 14 yrs. later, we seem to have gone full circle.

The lengths that people will go through for fame and money you say?

In hind sight, considering their fame, fortune, and opportunity the show brought them, it was probably worth it … despite doing a little time away at camp.

Makes sense. I remember a scene where Teresa had a party at her house. She was speaking to the crowd and someone said she looked like her brother or something like that. Tre started to laugh and agree but Melissa ( first time she was featured on camera…just a guest a the party ) made a sarcastic face and shook her head. The Gorgas came in hot for drama. They would have sold their souls to get on that show. Joey is a weasel and his wife is a fame hungry bitch. There's never been a camera or a mirror she doesn't love.
