The tension between the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast was palpable during the Season 5 reunion, but while most of the snowflake holders gathered for a post-taping dinner in New York City, Bronwyn Newport was notably absent. In a candid moment on the January 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Bronwyn revealed the real reason she skipped out on the dinner — and it’s a lot less dramatic than some might think.

“Oh, so much has been made out of that,” Bronwyn Newport said, brushing off the speculation. “I heard from them after I was back in pajamas and recouping. And I hope they had fun. Yeah, no weirdness.” It seems that for Bronwyn, the decision was all about unwinding and taking care of herself after a long, emotionally charged reunion.
The absence made waves when Whitney Rose mentioned it on a January 8 episode of WWHL. Whitney revealed, “Everyone but Bronwyn” hung out after the reunion taped on December 5. When Andy Cohen expressed surprise, Whitney quickly clarified, “And Mary didn’t come. Lisa and Meredith joined us later,” noting the absence of both Bronwyn and Mary Cosby.
The moment led Dorinda Medley, who was also on the show, to comment, “Very telling,” which only fueled the mystery behind the dinner.
Despite her absence from the dinner table, Bronwyn had plenty to say about her first season on the show. Reflecting on her time on the reunion stage, she shared that she had brought receipts to support her side of the story — but ultimately chose not to use them. “I brought my own receipts that I didn’t show. I don’t know always that we need to,” she explained. “Then you start to go down this path of, ‘I’m wrong and you’re right,’ and then there’s no resolution.”

Curious about the contents of her receipts, Andy Cohen asked Bronwyn Newport to elaborate. She revealed, “I had my own stuff about the jeweler. I had my own stuff about my daughter’s family. I just think I’m really in a place of, like, ‘All I can control is how I respond to things, not react.’”
In a season marked by some heavy feuds, particularly with her former friend Lisa Barlow, Bronwyn expressed a desire to remain calm and not get caught up in reactive arguments. “I’m big on not reacting at this point in my life, and when everybody else was feeling like they were reacting a lot, I didn’t think the receipts helped.”
Andy, clearly impressed by her restraint, responded, “I love it that you edited yourself.”
To which Bronwyn quipped, “I don’t need a safe word!” referencing the reunion’s infamous use of “besos” and “opa” as a way to cool down heated moments.

Um probably because you have no receipts
My only complaint with SLC are the tiresome psychobabble buzzwords. Newsflash for all of these fragile bishes … the therapy aiin't working. I hope this Brawnwhine dipshit is a one and done.
Me too . She lies .
I don't believe she had receipts. Happy Friday Everyone?
Same !
Not a fan of Bronwyn or her costumes (including that ruffly voluminous get-up ?) BUT I will give her this, she looks fabulous in red. Not everyone can wear red (yours truly included ?). I look HORRIBLE in red, so I’m jelly, jelly, jelly of those who can pull it off and ESPECIALLY those who can wear red lipstick (which ALSO looks HORRIBLE on me). Also, though I still side eye ? Bronwyn for the necklace fiasco, I also side eye ? that jewelry designer…so that’s a wash. Anyhow, those two points are as close as I’m willing to get re: grace for Bronwyn. Take it or leave it. ? https://media3.giphy.com/media/091WSOV1pDqwaYLqUT/giphy-downsized-small.mp4
I’ll take it, cause I feel the same way.
Oh btw- I can’t stand the Cher wannabe- Lisa!?
I really like Lisa but I was thinking more Yoko Ono?
?I don’t get the Yoko vibe from her. Now Cher, definitely a wannabe.?
Oh I do…but then I was a huge fan of John Lennon back in the day and we hated Yoko. ?
I was a fan of John too.
Never ever Yoko.
She really is so superficial and shallow, she’s almost a parody of herself. ?
She’s freakin obnoxious!??????
Yup. ?
Yeah, her outfits are bizarre. I also think she has a weakness for telling fibs. Having said that, you may not have tried the right shade of red. I can't wear red that has purple in it. I look horrible because I'm a spring colour. But I look great in red that has orange in it. Brightens the face. I can't wear red lipstick either…lips aren't plump enough but I can wear something that has a hint of coral even in pink lipsticks…again brightens the face. Maybe you just haven't used the right shade.
I’ve given up on finding the right shade. Red just won’t let me be great (lol). It’s ok, though, I’ve accepted it and I’ve just decided to declare myself fabulous by proxy from those who can pull off red. <— Yes, I know that makes no sense, but it works for me…????
I have a huge problem with black…makes me look horrible. But I'm forced to wear it because colour in clothes died a long time ago. It's white, beige, black, black, black or NOTHING.
Exactly. And is it just me or on that RARE occasion when there is an actual color that does look good on you, they don’t have it in your size…? but do they have that sh*t in black, white, grey, beige? Of freakin’ course they do, hence my very colorless wardrobe (which EVERYONE notices and comments on lol). It’s like I’m stuck in an old black and white analog tv and everybody else is in full spectrum color HDTV! ? Oh well.
Exactly…I miss colour!
Cue the circus music.

And b*tch had the NERVE to get all up in Britani’s grill about the word ‘costume’?! Sure, Brit’s a loon but when you’re walking around dressed like a damn muppet half the time, where do you get off chastising a fellow loon for calling a spade a spade? ? I know Bronwyn has her stans but I can’t with that twit.
??
She thinks she's cutting edge and fun, but to me she just looks (and acts) like she belongs in a mental ward.

Exactly! Lol! There is something…unhinged about it all, and not in the way that inspires pity and mercy but in a way that inspires you to cross the street when you see that mess coming toward you. ?
I suspect like most of the women who sign up for this series, this one and her sugar daddy are in some kind of trouble; financial and otherwise. I think their separation is a no brainer.
Yup. ??
