The tension between Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose has reached a boiling point. After a heated exchange on the most recent episode of RHOSLC, Lisa made it clear that Whitney’s actions have crossed a line she’s not willing to forgive. What started as a controversial rumor involving Lisa and her husband, John Barlow, has now spiraled into a full-blown feud that shows no sign of letting up.
During the episode, Whitney dropped a bombshell, revealing a text message that alleged Lisa and John had a sordid encounter with another woman. According to Whitney, the trio engaged in a kiss between Lisa and the third woman while the other woman allegedly performed a sexual act on John.
Lisa did not take kindly to the accusation. She wasted no time addressing the drama on Bravo’s After Show, explaining that she’s “organically distanced” herself from people like Whitney. As Lisa put it, “I have organically distanced myself from a person who says dangerous things with her words. They create bad situations for people and harm good people.”
Lisa opened up a laundry list of grievances against Whitney, citing how Whitney had spread lies about her business—something Lisa had “only supported”—and dragged her marriage into the conversation. “You lied about my marriage, my husband, everything that’s sacred to me. You are not my friend,” Lisa asserted.
And when it came to Whitney’s behavior, Lisa Barlow didn’t hold back, calling her out for being “so vile” that she would bring up “my amazing husband; my North; my person.” Lisa made it clear that any respect she might’ve had for Whitney was gone, saying, “There is no forgiveness. I don’t give a f*ck about her.”
Lisa didn’t stop at calling out Whitney’s actions; she went as far as to imply that Whitney could never measure up to her. “You are not on my level. You are so far beneath me. She will never climb her way up to being Lisa Barlow,” Lisa snapped. Adding fuel to the fire, Lisa remarked, “Good luck with your Alibaba [jewelry] and your marriage because that’s what you need to do. Don’t talk about mine.”
Despite the fiery words, Whitney didn’t back down entirely. “I’ve said worse things about Lisa,” she admitted, acknowledging that she “chose that text” because she felt guilty for involving John in the rumor. She also clarified that she didn’t believe the story was true—“in my mind, [the rumor] was so heinous and not true that it’s laughable.”
Still, Whitney’s perspective on the friendship’s demise was clear. “Lisa showed me she has zero intention of being my friend. I’ve kind of left our friendship.” It seems the damage done is irreversible for both women, as each has drawn a hard line in the sand.
