Reflecting on her time with the show, Vanderpump took a moment to discuss her strained relationship with Kyle, her thoughts on Kyle and Mauricio Umansky’s breakup, and some insider information about Dorit and PK Kemsley’s alleged issues.
Lisa Vanderpump’s relationship with Kyle Richards has clearly been a complicated one. Speaking on Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap, Lisa acknowledged that she’s no longer emotionally invested in Kyle, stating, “When people talk about the opposite of love [being] hate, it’s not. It’s kind of indifference.” She emphasized that the road to reconciliation would require an apology, explaining, “It needs to start with an apology to ever reconcile because you can’t ever pick up a friendship when somebody’s calling you a liar.”
Despite not having watched RHOBH since her departure in 2019, Lisa Vanderpump seemed to suggest that much of the drama on the show is fabricated for the cameras. She remarked, “I think a lot of what she’s done in the past is for the camera,” before adding that Kyle’s past behavior as a friend was less than stellar. “Kyle was a terrible friend to me,” she said, reflecting on their past.
While Lisa didn’t mince words about Kyle, she expressed sympathy for the end of Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage. “I’m sorry to see that. I always thought they were pretty solid even though there were a lot of… Yeah,” she noted, hinting at past rumors surrounding their relationship.
Lisa also weighed in on Dorit and PK Kemsley’s rumored split, suggesting that their relationship had been experiencing a slow unraveling. “We do have mutual friends so I’d heard rumors, but again, you hope for the best really for them with two young little ones,” she shared. Vanderpump mentioned that she and PK have mutual friends, offering a more measured take on the situation: “I know what’s going on and I wish him very well.”
Lisa Vanderpump made sure to only wish PK well and made no mention of Dorit Kemsley.
