Andy Cohen is confident that this season of the Real Housewives of Orange County has been the ‘most popular season’ he’s ever seen with Orange County.

Speaking to Deadline, Andy Cohen was thrilled with how well season 18 of Orange County did saying, “We’re coming off of one of the most popular seasons of Orange County that we’ve ever had. I think that’s 16 or 17 years into that series. So things are really good in Housewives world. We’re just being extra careful, because we want everything to succeed.”

The cast of Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 includes Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti and new housewife Katie Ginella.

This season we watched Shannon Beador post DUI and found out who her real friends were. We met new housewife Katie Ginella who quickly became popular and Jenn Pedranti became the MVP and only housewife to come for villain Tamra Judge. Heather Dubrow and Emily Simpson also found a common enemy: Katie Ginella and that brought the two closer.

While Andy claims the show is the most popular it’s ever been, I think this season was the most talked about, not necessarily popular.

I agree with him. I thoroughly enjoyed this season. Great reunion shows too, particularly 2 & 3.

Jenn calling out Tamrat was awesome. The lighting at the reunion was harsh...and poor Shannon with her Spanx showing geesh....I would have needed to be paid big money to be filmed under that lighting damn.

Lighting is everything. Shannon has gained weight which is too bad because she looked awesome this season. And she's ruining her face lift LOL.

Oh Andy come on no one believes that. I didn't watch this entire season but did watch the reunion. I stopped watching when they brought Trashy Tammy Sue Waddle back and she was nastier than she's ever been before this year.

Apparently, he was literally crying and comforting his (doomed) son. Me too and despite Meryl looking nothing like her, she NAILED Anna Wintour like no one else could, every nuance, every manifestation of her arrogance, coldness but even the tiniest glimpse of her humanness, she NAILED it to absolute perfection. The woman (Meryl) may be useless in any and every other way but she’s one HELL of a talented actress.
