RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin Opens up About Husband Bill’s Infidelity

RHONJ's Jennifer Aydin and Bill Aydin

In a new interview, Jennifer Aydin opens up her husband, Bill Aydin’s infidelity. The RHONJ star also discusses why she stayed and how she found forgiveness.

Jennifer Aydin recently appeared on Vicki Gunvalson‘s podcast, My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast, where she discussed the details of her husband Bill Aydin’s cheating.

During season 12 of RHONJ, Jennifer shared that she discovered that Bill had been cheating ten years into their marriage. Bill cheated with a pharmaceutical rep when Jennifer was pregnant with her fourth child. Despite the infidelity the Bravo couple worked through their issues and decided to keep the situation private until it came to light on RHONJ years later.

Throughout the ordeal of Bill’s infidelity becoming public knowledge, Jennifer found her voice and finally processed the betrayal. Now, she shares her feelings on the situation and reveals why she made the right decision to forgive Bill.

Jennifer shared, “I lived through an infidelity.”

“He was feeling himself, he was making money, and I was literally in the thick of it, pregnant with my fourth child and I had three other kids under five,” she explained. “And I wasn’t paying attention to him, this is true. Like, I was always tired, the kids always came first.”

Jennifer continued, “We dealt with it. He didn’t want to give up, I didn’t want to give up. I thought, ‘Okay, just because he did a bad thing… people make mistakes. This is the father of my children and I should not just penalize him on one mistake.’”

At the time,  the infidelity left the RHONJ star “shattered” however now she admits there’s no such thing as a “fairytale” marriage. She adds that Bill “treats me very well, he’s very respectful.”

The 47-year-old RHONJ star admits that the cultural pressures from the Turkish community played a huge role in her and Bill deciding to push through the difficult times in their marriage.

“I married a Turkish guy from my community. I made everybody happy. We had 600 people at our wedding. I’m on my fourth kid… and this is how you do me dirty?” Jennifer said.

She continued, “And then I woke up and was like, ‘Time to be a big girl. You’ve got a family to think about.’ He’s a good man, he’s a good person, a god-fearing man. He had a slip-up. S–t happens.’”

Jennifer’s openness about her and Bill’s marriage issues resonated with some RHONJ fans. She then shared an empathetic message she received from one viewer.

“It was basically a message that said, ‘I’m so happy that you forgave your husband. I cared too much about what everybody thought and I took my pride too much into consideration that I left a good man, and now I’m alone and he’s married and has the beautiful family that I threw away,’” she shared.

“Sometimes s–t happens and you just have to assess,” Jennifer noted. “Don’t listen to anybody else. Do what works for you.”

Jennifer added that “the grass isn’t always greener” and points out that leaving a relationship sometimes only swaps “one set of problems for another set of problems.”

“And by the time you get to your second guy you realize it’s not the person, it’s the process,” she concluded.

A lot of what she says is true. I feel for the woman who wrote that she listened to everyone and now she's alone and her ex has a family with someone else. Sometimes, you do trade your problems in for another set of problems. But I don't think the relationship is ever the same after an affair. Something dies forever.

Bill didn't leave her because as the old saying goes " it's cheaper to keep her." I'm sure once that last child turns 18, Bill will run as fast as he can and I won't blame him one bit. Jennifer is a horrible, horrible person.
