RHOBH alum Kim Richards has confrontation with sister Kyle Richards following psych hold over concerns about her sobriety.

TMZ reports that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Kim Richards has been shut out by her entire family. Apparently it’s a case of tough love as the actress turned reality TV star has fallen off the wagon yet again. Kim was placed on a psychiatric hold earlier this month but her life continues spiral out of control.

Law enforcement sources reveal they showed up at a Los Angeles home owned by Kyle Richards on Wednesday night after a neighbor called to have Kim removed from the property. The neighbors were reportedly concerned about Kim’s behavior.

Kyle had been letting Kim live in the house but she had moved out a while back. However, on Wednesday, Kim showed up again. The RHOBH star told law enforcement that she did not want Kim in the house as the family has cut off all contact in hopes it would push Kim to get sober again.

Cops told Kyle the issue was a civil matter and she would have to file an eviction action to remove Kim from the property. Kim currently remains in the house.

Also, on Wednesday night, Kyle told police that Kim is “in deep trouble over her sobriety and the family is worried about her survival.”

Sisters Kyle and Kim Richards have reportedly not spoken in months.

The whole situation gets even worse as law enforcement sources say earlier this month Kim was at a Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and was incoherent. Kyle was there with her older sister, who was asked to leave after the cops were called. Kim was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold and taken by ambulance to a hospital after she refused to leave the hotel.

I wholeheartedly subscribe to "tough love", but I'm not sure pushing a sick person to the brink of total desperation and despair is recommended (especially in L.A.). I suspect there is way more to the story than what the TMZ morons are reporting.

This is so sad. I dont watch this show anymore but I did when Kim was on years ago. Addiction is a tough nut to crack ????

Surely this family with all their money (Kathy & Kyle) can find a better solution than cutting all ties with a sister who clearly suffers from chronic mental illness. Many who struggle with mental illness are addicts. And her sisters have known for years that Kim is sick. Yes, I understand having to cut ties if you don't have the financial resources that these two asshole sisters have but they are multi millionaires with access to the best legal and medical services to help their sister. I don't trust Kyle. I think she's a selfish bitch after watching that infamous last episode on the first season of RHOBH. She used her sick sister for a freaking story line and trapped Kim in that limousine so she could expose her addiction and illness to the world on camera. The look of horror on Adrienne Maloof's face as she tried to shield Kim said it all. I hope Kim gets the help that she needs because if she doesn't she's going to end up dead and those two asshole sisters will have blood on their hands...and then they'll probably use it as a story line.

While I completely understand your point, I do think that the whole family has done all they can at this point to help, and this is the only alternative they have left. I feel for Kim, addiction is a horrible thing, but equally as hard to watch a love one suffer from.

For Kim's sake, I hope you're right but I don't trust them to do whatever they can to help her. Just recently, Kyle was hoping Kim would join RHOBH. On what planet is it wise to have a person suffering from mental illness and addiction join a reality TV series. They know she's ill. They've known it for years and yet they watched as she was exploited for years on that show. Again, the only reason I think they could be doing much more is because they have the resources to do so. I wish Kim well because I don't think she has anyone in her corner. It's just easier to wash their hands and move on with their glamorous lives. She's an impediment and people like them don't like to be inconvenienced.

Oh My, this so sad ?. I feel so bad for Kim, I pray she gets help. I also feel bad for Kyle Kathy and Kim’s kids . Having a family member with all these issues for years , is rough / heartbreaking.
